The episode was actually really good, one you want to watch again, like the marriage episode or confession one.

It seemed abrupt, and fast paced unlike the slow pace but like @Smith said I guess they're accelerating the story since the dragging was making them lose viewers. I hope we have a proper closure thought.

Anyway, Hala being naive and trusting SJ is skip-worthy, the episode is good from the appartement scene. I had my doubts last episode but now I really believe Khurram has changed for the better and I hope he and Sameen get married and have a happy life. I liked his explanation of his story too. Despite the fact that he was playing Shafaq and Hala, its SJ who got poison into his mind and put this revenge insanity in his head + his mother's death ofcourse. I think that what happened leaves no place for Shafaq's character to make a come back, even thought I really really liked her, she was such a nice and selfless friend, Hala deserves to have her back in her life specially if Dadi dies and she has no other female support in her life.

Hamza's reactions were so good and true to his character. It makes the abortion episode seems even more senseless and out of place. His hurt and emotions were so well portrayed by Farhan as said already, loved how he still wanted to go back and take Hala with him, stopped SJ from shaming her or badmouthing her several times and getting down on her level on the ground when she came to explain to him. His dialogues about how he loves her so much, and that there will be no trial were also good. What hurt me is that he is thinking Hala never ever loved him which makes half sense to me, it does because he doesnt know her all that too well from before and she has been anguished and anxious half the time, but then it doesn't because by how in love and deep their bond had been portrayed, you would just know that the love was real. The part where he asked Hala if she had harmed Dadi also makes no sense, Dadi's the one true person who loves Hala the most in that house and that's still supporting her even after learning this whole mess.

Dadi's character was also good, in the earlier episodes, she had little attachement to Hala who she took as a burden. But her dialogues and acting in this episode omg - she really has tried her best to be Hala's mother and every say and action in the show points towards that. She never treats Hala as a Dadi but as a mom. In the driver phone mess, Dadi lied that Hala slept all night and didn't move a finger, all to protect her when she knew all that time that Hala spoke to someone on the phone at night. How she was refusing to believe a single word of SJ and even Hamza, Hamza was her son in law in this episode, not her grandson. She also shoved him away when he tried to care for her after she came back from the Hospital. I really hope she doesn't die because she is the only one that can reason Hamza though. Her dialogue to Nafees were so good too, she is clearly hurt and ressentful to him on Hala's behalf. I love the dialogue where she told Hala her only last wish was for Hala to take care of her baby - that was eye watering. The Dadi-Hala bond is so unique and amazing, I a glad it was portrayed this way 👏

Coming to Hala, all the little anger I had on her for not telling Hamza before or being stupid in the first half of the episode disapeared in the second half. Viewers are being unfair to her. She isn't that horrible or senseless. Her monologue was so heart touching I cried - this is a bit personal but my father also left me when I was a small child and that too on Eid-ul-Adha day, after that, I've had father figures but like Hala said, there's always this pity in father figures, because they're figures, not your father. I loved how she, as a FL got to clear her part as to why she had an affair with Khurram. Its something we dont even see on Hollywood. She was seeking human care and bond, nothing more, never mind that it was one sided and she was played, all she wanted was for someone to see her, or someone to whom she could tell stuff and who could love her more than just like a friend (Shafaq). I loved that, I know many wont understand in the audience, and I dont know if Hamza will, I hope he does with how sensible he has been written, but at least Dadi did. She has shown so much progressiveness even being the oldest of the house. Her anger vanished totally and she is embracing Hala around no matter what anyone says. I hope Hamza & Jalees + Sameen react the same way. The rest are lost cases.

However now, there's no fear or anything stopping her anymore so Hala should explain everything to Hamza and open to him the way she does to Dadi. And specially tell him how much she loves him and how much their bond/marriage matters to her. She can save their marriage because Hamza clearly isnt divorcing her no matter what SJ says, so the ball is in her court. She is trying in the promo but its the proper words he needs, not just her hovering around or picking his bag, giving his coat no matter how much love she put in those gestures.

Good episode overall. And it really made up for the mess of the past 5-6 episodes. I really hope there's an evenly good closure for all characters. The Rumi track is still pending, Hala deserves a closure with Nafees, and what will actually happen with Sameen + Khurram because only Dadi, Hamza, SJ know about Khurram right now, Hamza stopped SJ from telling others and Sofia + Jalees weren't home anyway. Dreading Raees, Jalees, Nafees, Sofia and all getting to know. Raees better behave and not manhandle Hala or want to throw her out, or say stuff about her character or mother again now

And Dadi's most likely dying unfortunately... đŸ„ș

The points in red are spot on

I think Hamza is thinking this way as Hala never opened up to him. Again the lack of communication is the reason and the root cause of the problems

I liked the episode, guess everyone else did too, was trending on twitter and a whole day on YT.

So I'll such crib about things I didn't like, for example editing, which has been abysmal since forever so let's forget it and direction which could have made a lot of difference in khurram's flat scene:

-I wish the conservation was longer between hala and K for us viewers and hamza could have walked in on the hadsa dialogue, because she wouldn't have been this calm with K had she not ACCEPTED that he has changed some what. Hala was explaining more than confronting and we've seen her confronting K alot by now, so she ain't scared of him as much.

The scene could have played out same as it did, but atleast K would also have had the enlightenment that he misjudged hala and harrassed her for no fault of hers. All these people need to realise what douches they've been to hala one by one rather than some final showdown where no one really does any repenting.

And please stop making K say he forgave hala, dude better be apologising to her soon, just because he has grown a conscience doesn't mean we all need to forget all his misdeeds.

-Also the barabari scene was perfect in its entirety, only thing what I WISH makers show later on is that while Hamza got to ask was his love not enough for hala to be honest with him, he needs to realise listening to her honest words wasn't exactly practiced by him. Hala has more issues than just K and she tried to let Hamza know her biggest problem; SJ and her abuse, but Hamza chose to ignore it. That isn't a great impression for hala in trying to tell him of something she feels ashamed of because that's how everyone treated her liking of K when she told those worthless family members of her.

Rest if the director can give SJ a painful death, I'll forget all my complains.

Lastly it'll be nice to see if even Hamza can have this realisation that while his love was/is unconditional, his attention is limited by familial loyalties and self assured assumptions. He has assumed hala is fine, everyone loves her, takes care of her, her needs are met, she is healthy and probably requires nothing. Even the image he has of her is defined by him. There need to be scenes where he isn't just looking at her but really LOOKING at her.

And they've actually gotten this last part in bits(i guess). Hamza not reacting like a manic while all his reality was breaking, showed his love isn't superficial. He does realises hala is a real person. Also we will be getting the scene where he'll stand outside dadis room, watching hala sleep, so he might be shown pining for her as well. Just wish they'll use this opportunity to let Hamza and hala discover and rediscover eachother.

For me the highlights were actually hala and dadi scenes. The raw moments of dadi twice shoving hala away because she felt betrayed and hala still following dadi, leaning onto her because she knows she has explaining to do , felt natural and just visually painfully appealing. Then Hala's monologue was just plain grief. These had writing direction and of course acting all going right.

Hamza's scenes on the other hand were good to ok from the writing and direction point of view, they were elevated by farhan's acting coz I felt there were too many loopholes and linear direction.

Love the red and that is what is the main reason for Hala to hide her stuff and all. If he let his ears on then situation would be different

@Bold - I think you're only focusing on Hala's POV here, which is a bit unfair. Think from Hamza's perspective too. He has asked her multiple times to tell him the truth but she didn't. He had shown utmost patience with her but she kept quiet. There were many opportunities when she could have told him about Khurram, but she chose not to. She had a chance to tell him her truth, before Khurram or SJ could twist it around. Hamza had shown her time and time again that he's different (something even she acknowledged), that he trusts her unconditionally, especially in Khurram's matter. All she had to do was tell him.

Sure she couldn't tell him about SJ, but she could have avoided this Khurram misunderstanding.

I'm not saying Hamza is completely innocent, but he's not the only one to be blamed either. Both of them need to learn how to communicate better, because one's silence and other's unwillingness to hear is going to keep creating problems for both of them

I am not upset over what Hamza said, he is jusitified, like Hala said in promo, ek do gaali bhi bol de to its ok. But thinking she never loved him is hurtful man, she stayed with him in that toxic hellhole, embraced all wifey duties wholeheartedly like helping him please his foreign clients, prepping him for his job + she is the happiest when she is only with him or when he was home a lot. And he himself has noticed that, that she is happy with him and when he comes back out of nowhere she is completely off, panicked, anxious and worried...

They totally dont communicate enough. Both of them. Which makes the whole "pyaar ko izhar ki zaroorat hoti hai" dialogue pointless 😆

As long as it pure and good angst, I am all for it, they're not toxic to each other. The people around them are toxic for them

@Smith I dont hate Sameen, but shipping her with Hamza is so stupid, like Hala isn't a bad FL and Hamza fancies her since childhood, woh bhi one sided, he is lucky there was a mishap in the first place, if Khurram hadnt been engaged to Shafaq and he and Hala got married, Hamza would be heartbroken a la Sameen right now 😆

@Bold..Hey i havent ever said anything about shipping Hamza with SameenđŸ˜Č..And i absolutely found those tweets stupid who are out of the blue shipping Hamza with Sameen..I mean are they for realđŸ˜”!!Hala showered her love to him as much as she was capable of as a damaged person and even more than what a person in her shoes would have ever been able to..She tried to create a happy house with him but all went downhill for her the moment she came across her past and went into her shell once again.

Hala has been recently unhappy, not the entire time of Halza’s marriage,so deducing she was never happy with the marriage is actually hurtful..Yes she said “hadsa” and it is true their marriage was an accident,it was neither arranged nor a love marriage.I think both of them need to communicate,if Hala can explain it all to him like she did with dadi, then there will be no problem as Hamza is quite liberal and will understand her..Communication is the key😆..

I do agree with you, i did say somewhere else here that I get his breakdown. It's just that hala did try but her lack of confidence with the dread she harbours was amplified by SJ n Khurram whenever she, in her naivety told them she'll tell Hamza herself, which again pulled her hundred steps back.

And then when it seemed she'll finally say it all last week, we saw the scene end abruptly.

So I guess the makers played her dirty to give Hamza a stronger meltdown.
