From the way everyone is describing the episode it sounds like Sara has done something to really piss off KJo. She’s Nawab’s daughter and his bestie’s stepdaughter, he wouldn’t just go at her like this just for heck of it.

Tbh I wouldn’t put it past her step mother to be ok with kjo doing this… step mom and nawab papa were holidaying abroad when sara was being hounded by ncb in connection with ssr death

I personnally don't see what Karan did wrong here. He's stating the truth! It's Saif with WTF statemennts over the past decades that showed the world how much he care about his kids post-divorce.

Remember his statements regarding Love Aaj Kal 2 ?

What Karan is doing here is somewhat beneficial to Sara as it positions her and Jhanvi in different categories by making her out to be a starkid with a troubled family life and a father who doesn't seem to care that much.

It gives off the vibe of a starkid who struggles more than the others.

Aand it's working ! I remember it wasn't so long ago that people were dissing Sara following the dr*g scandal...

If Sara is smart, she can actually use this to be the SoBo kid with a heart of Gold and a humble background. People with single parents will obviously gravitate to her, she can pull off another Deepika and show how a heartbreak can be a stepping stone (in Sara's case, a douchebag father who turned his back on his own child)

Much better than wearing salwar kameez to seem more grounded. "Yaa, I wear affordable clothes because my single mother had to work hard to raise two kids while my father and his royal snob family weren't that supportive of me. And hey, I turned out fine-ish (I did throw my househelp in the pool as a prank)"
