I understand that feeling. Being a sucker for happy endings and liking the show for Sairat chemistry, it really feels odd to be thinking on different lines now. I still have an unfinished story on the forum because I couldn’t write about a non Sairat plot. Unfortunately that is the space the show has forced us to be at.

Making Sai pregnant was my way of saying that good deeds will find their dues. And with all her suffering Sai had to be blessed and should find her happiness. Like you said nothing against surrogacy and adoption.

Also, with naming her son Samrat, she was not getting tied to Chavans. She always had an individual bond with Samrat. And for the selfless love with which he protected her and blessed her, she had to find a source to feel him close to her.

I completely understand. I have been there for the longest of time, so I completely get the sentiments. Its difficult to imagine them going separate ways.

Glad you liked it. Had my doubts while writing this if there will be any takers for it. But I really wanted Sai to get her happiness and all that she wished for but denied. V on the other hand had lost his chance at being that source for her.
