The reason is obvious..so that audience does not make issue of illegal surrogacy and abuse of Sai by CN waasis, to whitewash PP without Virat realising the evil facade she has and to cover Virat's dumbness as IPS officer who does not pay any heed to wife's well established reasoning & logic, allows and support violation of law in garb of being a desperate soul for child whereas he could not even lift a finger to stop abuse and mental torture of his pregnant wife.
