I haven't watched the episode, but there is no industry kid who will call out KJo - they won't piss him off as they need his support and movies. They don't need just Dharma ones, but KJo has a penchant for going to any good director and pushing his favorites in. That's how he made Alia's career. There are very few powerful PHs in BW and YRF has lost all its glory with Aditya Chopra. So there are very few remaining. Alia gave KJo what he wants most - power - that's a big part of why he loves her so much and props her up so much. Curating her career made KJo 100x more powerful within BW circles; everyone wanted their child to be launched by KJo and was kissing his ass more.

Only those very powerful industry insiders who have nothing to lose can call him out, not those making their careers.

I don't think Kareena cares about Sara or Ibrahim and if he so brazenly called out Saif as a father, then KJO must know there will be no reaction from either of them. Kareena is old news for KJo anyways and he never gave a damn about Saif.

There was a period when fans used to be in awe of celebrities because of their lavish lifestyles and fashion & used to copy it but I believe that mentality has considerably diminished over time.

I mean people still appreciate fashion but that’s not enough .

exactly, covid has changed people a lot, the tragedies around have given more perspective, it is also a generational shift, acess to mobile etc,

earlier generations used to be enamoured of anything phoren, nowadays young people are more discerning in some ways. kjo is in a time warp in multiple ways

He himself dresses like colourful bin bags and guts to comment on other's dressing style.

Yes, Karan worships Alia and Ranbir, but that doesn't mean he hates Sara or anyone else. Who he does hate is Kartik/Kangana and a few others. But he is mostly indifferent to Deepika, Katrina etc. - no love or dislike. But to make Alia seem better he might put them down.

People now have much greater exposure, and the majority of them are capable of developing their own sense of style without having to emulate a certain celebrity.

Additionally, the majority of these BW celebs nowadays imitate western celebrities and lack a distinct sense of style. If anything , people would prefer stanning the original version over the duplicate. 😆
