another point on naima I realized as the drama progressed -- she didn't listen to mehnaz or raeesa because she is a bigger manipulator herself and knows how to pick on someone's weakness for her own gain. just as a thief recognizes another thief, so naima could smell the plots of mehnaz and raeesa. thats why she didn't care initially about sufiyan or his antics. it didn't matter in some ways.

whereas both zainab and ushna are not the type to play games. they are more in your face and this isn't something naima can handle. so she plays a more sophisticated kind of game compared to mehnaz and raeesa and she uses her disability, a few tears and pretend veezing to make shehroze and wahab weak.

In Noor she wasn't such moofat and was soft spoken and their scenes had more development. There were a lot of scenes of nabeel trying to prove his love and noor finally giving in. Also even though it was a very average drama Noor had a proper characterisation.

Here i guess anmol herself is not very sure of how to play ushna as there is no proper characterisation. There isn't a proper development of ushroze falling in love. Esp ushna falling in love. She started being attracted to him before the shooting itself but they didn't properly developed it and then they directly started talking about mohabbat and all.

Anmol has been really good in fighting scenes with Shehroz. And hence you can see the chemistry more. In love scenes, i find lesser chemistry as she herself has not been told about how Ushna should behave. Or may be the writer herself wants her to be confused on producer's interference to show Sufu in the angle

Unfortunately Anmol does not express right expression. Matlab romantic scenes main ushna ki involvement lagti hi nhi. Neither she showed any anger to sufiyan.

It looks like the writer put her entire brain at creating shehroze that she forgot to give ushna basic characterisation 😔

yea like you, when we watched those earlier episodes, I was thinking wow, naima is so nice, sane and logical that she can see through this women. but now we can see that she is a bigger manipulator and so these small fishes couldn't compete with this woman.
