There are lot of pros for this show
Characters are authentic and real far from the caricatures you generally seen in shows. I liked the main couple along with the secondary couples. ML is the MVP here. He is an amazing actor. i will surmise he is one of the best C actor I have seen. I will rate him above yang yang
Lot of shows have set up in school or college but they are hardly use it for the intended purpose. This is an exception here the actually show the characters studying, struggling to get good marks. A lot of efforts are gone to capture the real essence of HS. I am sure we will be able to relate some aspect of it
Already mentioned supporting characters are hoot too
Now coming to cons in this 24 ep show (+1 spl ep) post ep 15 there is leap and the leads go to college. The tone shifts we dont get to see the awesome secondary characters, new characters pop up which i found annoyinh
another issue FL character is someone who idolizes ML. she excels in arts but chose science since ML chose it. she repeats one year in high school just to get more marks and be admitted in the prestigious university of ML. ML repeatedly tells her to chose what she likes and not base her life decisions on his likes. She gets the hint finally but the writers make ML bad guy for this which was nuts. Neverthless we get ML chasing the FL after that which was good in a way
