another serious question -- how do you reject someone you cannot avoid? (maybe they are there in your workplace or your neighbourhood or someone you are related to)

The way she rejected Shehroz 🤢 she had her whole family to defend her. If she had told Shehroz about Suffu , Shehroz would have thrashed him. Wahab, Naima and Zainab all were in her support then. She herself liked Suffu persuading her. Otherwise, it is not like she did not have options. Wahab destroyed whole business of mukhtar family for Zainab. Shehroz and Wahab would have beaten shit out of Romeo if Ushna had been firm and complained to them about Suffu. And best part is she herself never was firm with him , she was all cordial.

It depends on the attention you get. I gave my example of the stalker where I did say politely that I was not interested and afterwards had to involve my dad and authorities.

At college few asked out and it was a polite no and they backed off. After marriage once a new colleague asked me out and I said I am flattered but married and he backed off but couple of times tried to be weird so I did say very firmly that I don’t like that kind of talk and if he continues I will file a harassment complaint with HR. So he apologised and it’s been fine since then.

Had she not entertained the talk when he asked how are you, just walk off and if he bugs you then be firm. What was the need to talk? Why say how are you? I heard someone say she said that and I haven’t watched the saw but why do all that?

She was upset because her useless uncles business was ruined and then she talked to Romeo too didn’t she? She was never ever firm and then she goes around claiming she didn’t mean anything.
