Is it ? I thought the 149 rs subscription is for HS as such. Is it not? For us in US we have HotStar combined into Hulu app and I get Star Bharat, Star Plus, HS originals, Star Jalsha, Star Maa, Star Parvaah(regional star shows) all in one place. How does Hotstar work in India?

Till now Aashiqana was free means anyone could watch it without sign in hotstar and without giving any single money. But now subscription has been added. It's just like how paid web series is on Amazon or Netflix.

As for daily soaps that are telecasted on star plus and other regional channels , it's gets free after 24 hours of original telecast on tv

@bold:- For the daily soaps I think if you have HS subscription they are available at 6am the day of telecast. For us if we have to watch it, we need to have Hulu with Disney+. I guess now Aashiqana would be available like daily soaps with HS subscription only.
