I think they changed the draping style to show some skin.. even I prefer the way she draped it before

I think the draping style depends on the blouse - if tbe blouse is plain and boring they drape the pallu over chest. If the blouse is fancy pansy lot of decorations then the pallu gets hung like a swag curtain.
