she is fantastic actresss!!!! In today’s episode she showed several shades - from disbelief, empathy, pride (during her lunch with Basit) to trepidation, hope and discomfort (during nikkah)

Same here!!! I am quite surprised at the promo. Was not expecting the divorce thing so soon, unless Ayesha is imagining it, which will annoy me. I hate those imagination scenes, because with her subtle facial expressions she is able to show us what she really feels or she is close enough to her sister that she will tell her fears. Bhai I am intrigued.

The actress really hit it out of the park. And I love love that they got a female singer to sing some lines in the bg, like you said, not a single thing I would do different,

I did feel Basit blew unnecessarily hot and cold with his mother, as soon as she says they will stay for dinner, he goes out of his way not to stay. That part I felt was thoda overkill.

I loved their nikaah attires, and their poses.❤️ I wish I have their nikaah photos.😳 Also I hope Bano gets married to Basit's friend in future.. they are the best wellwishers of Basit and Ayesha.

Zoya and phuppo are like mother and daughter . I like it that they don't get overboard in expressing their negativity. They are very much relatable.. almost all of us have such ppl in our families who say bad thingsz envy us and create problems.. but aren't harmfull.😃

The divorce thing doesn't bother me too much. I might be wrong but I see it as a safety net Basit gives Ushna. Like, you never need to feel like you are trapped with me or something. If ever you wish to end this relationship, just sign the papers. It's like, emotionally, he is retaining some control over the relationship by giving her an out himself. He thinks this will take away the element of surprise when the time comes, which due to his abandonment issues he seems 85% sure will. He is not divorcing her. But, rather protecting himself from the hurt by making it an option from the very beginning.

There were several good things about the epi. Really well done 👏

First is that basit managed to tell ayesha about the will and the reason why he is marrying her . The fact that he paid to his mom is still a secret and it may blow up in the future ..chalo nvm ..there ayeshas test of maturity will come as she should be knowing her mother won't agree to get her golden goose married .

Second , bano ..I am in awe of this girl. She wasn't a bit salty about the fact that her sister is getting married and she couldn't , not just that , a dreamy match , and their mother agreed..she was genuinely happy and concerned for ayesha , plus she now knows about the money ..

Fufo and Zoya, I couldn't care less..I was happy that she didn't approach Fahad, or whatever his name is , n she is like I will marry this guy and won't change my mind just bec he isn't that rich .

The wedding sequences were simple and impactful..ushna and fk were really really good , managed to capture all the emotions and convey it to us .

I will watch the prev epis this week to know exactly the equation between basit and his mom..why is he so bitter..why did she come bk btw when she left her family years ago?

Another thing, his mom and then his friend reminds him "don't repeat my mistakes " ..means basit may go that way ?

I am happy that divorce papers scene came so soon..means it won't have that much relevance later on..may be he just handed it over to ayesha thinking that this marriage was not her wish , so she has the freedom to move out anytime she wishes to. It's all in good faith ..exited for the love story which will start now ..basit will be healed with love ..hope there r no third angles or negative characters there , and love story builds up organically

I’ve told you that he’s going to tell her everything, he’s not a man who’d lie or pretend about love, he keeps her in high regard and he told the truth that he finds her honesty very special. I’m just too much in love with Basit right now, he considered his fear and majboori the reason to blow up this marriage while he put her in the pedestal and wouldn’t blame her if she walks away, hence ensuring she has her say by giving her the divorce papers and the authority to walk out whenever she feels like.

I think he’d not might revealing the money truth but he’s scared, guilty plus he understands how Ayesha will be hurt as her mother already told him, but this might make Ayesha misunderstand Basit even though I really wish she doesn’t as she’s witnessing his innocence and his deep rooted trauma.

His mom left him as she loved someone else and not his father, and she came back only because his father asked her to be his guardian in his absence. His father was worried that Basit would be orphaned upon his death. I think his bitterness is justified because he’s suffering from anxiety and depression to an extent that he’s on medicines, his father forced him to marry, he has no say of his own in his own life plus he lost his father too. Too much for anyone to swallow in the same time.

Fahad and Sadia reminding Basit to not repeat the same mistake as his mom is the reason he’ll give the divorce papers to Ayesha, khudgarz na hojaye issiliye he’ll give her the papers and say you are free to walk out whenever you want, I’ll never stop you from living your life. That’s why the emphasis on his fear and his mom’s selfishness.

Exactly i guess that's for her security. To make her understand that she is not force to live with him.

Both of them were matching and complimenting each other. Super excited for upcoming episodes.

Basit's last scene was so realistic. He got married but still he was scared.

Also the best thing wad he told everything to aisha. Their are no secrets.
