#ChannaMereya
Set in Amritsar, Ginni Grewal is a countryside chef who runs "Ginni Da Dhaba" and stays with her mother, elder brother and two teenage siblings. The episode starts with Ginni looking for her brother who is getting tortured by thugs for not returning their money. Ginni saves her brother and ask the thugs a month period for returning money. Later Ginni and her mother talks their financial condition and stuff. On the other hand, Aditya Raj in Vancouver is a celebrity chef who is in the final round of a cooking reality show there but when he is given the task of making something that is related to his family, his dark part comes out and he furiously walks out of the competition with his friend Armaan. In the flashback, Aditya's father forces Aditya to accept his new stepmother but he denies as he thinks she is responsible for his mother's death, soon he pours hot oil over his stepmom's hand and gets thrown out of the house by his father. Now at present Aditya and Armaan both are in Amritsar and a small accident happens between his audi and Ginni's bike but nobody sees each other's face. Later he comes to his house as he cares a lot for his grandfather whom he want to take Canada with himself but then his grandfather asks him to take the tractor challenge and he agree to it. There at the field his whole family is introduced like his stepmom, two sisters, chacha chachi (all of them where in western wear, the family is very modern) and his father who is still a trash man. He eyes at his stepmom who got scared seeing him and shown wearing a glove on her left hand exactly the place where he poured the hot oil in the past. In the end his father and he had a face off.

I totally enjoyed the episode. It was pacey and intriguing. The production quality is excellent. Cinematography is stunning and bgms are also good. I am looking forward to this.
Channa Mereya actually feels Punjabi show. 60% show is in punjabi language, 20% hindi and 20% english.
