For him, his mother has gone back to being the sensible caring lady she was before all the shooting and daadi scene happened. He talks about everything he feels to his mother and it's perfectly normal for him to say how he felt about giving the jewellery to ushna. Naima is not just his mother but is like a friend to him and his confidant. He clearly won't even think that the mother that told him to love ushna, take care of her and sets dinner dates for them will try to manipulate him to destroy his marriage. According to him his mother has always only given good advice to him. It is true that men (esp men from a cultural background where mothers are considered to be above god) will never think the worst about their mothers until they get to see it themselves. They grew up in a cultural setup where from a young age they hear 'maatha, pita, guru, daivam'. Even though pak is a Muslim country i am sure they have this cultural similarity with india when it comes to mothers. If any guy that has a normal kind of relationship with his mother won't even think there is evilness in their mother how will someone like shehroze can see it? A guy like Hamza won't belive that his mother is capable of killing his own child. Shehroze is totally out of question and he is certified mumma's boy.
No hun I am not questioning his not trusting his mother she has not given him any reason not to.
Let me explain better - he was saying to his mother you shouldn’t have given your jewellery to Ushna she was very careless. I am not happy with that statement. A good husband would have asked his mother that she said some really terrible things and maybe now it won’t happen. But it’s Shehroz so I will let that go.
That conversation was not needed. His mother said no Ushna must not have meant it. That is my issue. Why does his mother need to say that? He loves Ushna and knows her maybe not as well but enough. That talk was not needed and he shouldn’t have.
Rest, unless he sees his mother being bad he won’t believe it even if she says she did it - I get that my issue is the talking behind Ushna’s back.
