The drama is going great . Today was by far the best one . Loved it , loved it . The scene where he stared at Ayesha before everyone was pure Jem . Specially , the background music was bang on in that scene .

Like , he was a little afraid , yet the yearning was there . It's for sure , he likes Ayesha . And , even in his eyes - she is his ideal woman too .

Let's see what happens in future .

I just want that Ayesha's mother doesn't take advantage of Basit . Poor one .... He is so decent ....

Azlan was somewhat better but again the writers couldn't explore him properly .. Basit is complex but he has a heart ..

The mother , she is a pro at playing these roles . Mostly she plays the rich sissy mom here she is a poor sissy mom but essentially the same..I hardly see her in positive roles 😆 The actress is good yeah..I like her too.

Basit is not an anti hero, he is a flawed human being who has complex personality but have golden heart as well.

The thing I love about Basit is that he requested her to understand him and listen to him atleast once, the boy is so cute and innocent ke his father did such an unfair decision but he has nothing to do except get married, he genuinely respects Ayesha but he has no choice but he still went with an official rishta and respected her mother’s demands and problems 🥹

He has pure heart. That's best thing about him

Even when Basit was stressed about his mom visiting Ayesha..he spoke politely with Ayesha 😃

He didn't grind his teeth, didn't scream, didn't yell, didn't command her to lie..such a welcome change from all the testosterone filled mannerisms that we get most of the time 🤔

You know what, I realised while rewatching the episode, that this the first time in a long while that I've seen physical flaws in the leads of a drama. Feroze has had a pimple on his cheek which they haven't covered with makeup or added any filter over during editing. Ushna LOOKS like a woman who is lower middle class. She sweats, has her hair in a bun and looks pretty dull when she travels or is in her small, dark, home. That's how real people look. In the last scene between bano and Ayesha, bano was sweating on her upper lip and both looked how we normal people look at the end of a long day. Tired. No makeup.

This is such a difference when compared to the white as snow, fresh as Daisies look female leads have in dramas, irrespective of the circumstances. The male leads as well, always perfectly groomed and gelled. Never a hair out of place. I'm so glad that this drama shines light on the characters instead of just the actors. Which, despite loving their work, I have felt many times with roles played by Ayeza, Minal, Affan, Hira and Feroze as well.
