I donot understand why abortions are being rampantly banned in many countries now? I mean, I get it that it's killing in a way, but who would take responsibility of teenage pregnancies or pregnancies due to rape now? I don't understand the politics bit of it, but from a human point of view this decision is very rash and insensitive in a number of ways especially when well-to-do couples consider IVF or surrogacy to carry forward their genes over adoption. God only knows what would happen to the numerous babies who would be born without a mother's consent. And in a way, this decision not just takes away the right from a girl/woman to have a baby out of her own will, it also places them in a weaker position, imo.

On a lighter note, I saw Jugjugg Jeeyo and absolutely loved Anil, Varun and Manish in the movie. Kiara was rightly the flower pot of sorts, but I had actually excepted better from Neetu Kapoor's role. Her character was a let down. Also, the movie was entertaining for a run time of 150 mins, but it definitely lacks in a lot of places. Raj Mehta's Good Newz was phenomenal as compared to this one. All in all, it's just a decent time pass. Watch it if you don't have anything better to do on a hot summer afternoon. 😆

I am so sorry to say this but the Kapoor's have to be the most regressive clan of BW. Not just the numerous stories that do the round, but the men of the family only marry to have kids and then the wives can kiss their careers goodbye. It happened to Neetu, Babita..and I don't know but it could be for Alia too. In the recent promotions and otherwise Neetu is looking so ecstatic to get back to work, that she even mentioned how she missed being an actor all these years and is finally, living her life now. If that is not a sign of how claustrophobic and toxic some relationships and marriages are, then I don't what is.
