LOLL I guess it doesn't help that I also just recently watched both RRR and KGF toh unka deja vu feel ho raha hai.....well more KGF cuz of the dusty/sandy feel of the setting for this story as well and then there's Sanjay Dutt.....lol

It's a decent trailer waise for a masala film......Ranbir looks like he's getting a lot of range to cover in this movie....lol he gets to play his own father - serious dacoit types, then he gets to play a boyish/mischievous type dacoit as well as the son....action adventure genre full on. Baaki toh execution pe depend karega but so far looks better than that Thugs of Hindustan movie which was my baseline of judging this one cuz similar pre-independence dacoit type setting.....lol yahaan family legacy wala part might be better joined together and could work.

This is still a better trailer than Brahmastra😆....and full chances that this one might do better than Brahamastra at the box office also.....lol

I think I will start Banni then .. but there is always this fear of simple stories being turned into a mess later on.. I guess we can enjoy the good parts until it lasts .. i heard KKIS is complete trash now 😆

LOL Banni is nothing like KKIS😆.....it helps I guess that this is the rare non-Leena ji show ka remake😆

KKIS was sold as some kind of slice of life family show as per the promos and became complete trash ultimately ....but it continues to be on air for whatever reason that I really don't care about .....it's been out of sight, out of mind for me since a while.

Banni was promoted more as a typical story to begin with....lol....the whole angle of Banni protecting Yuvaan from the vamps was the baseline in the promos and so far they are building the story around that only.....when I say simple, I don't mean slice of life like KKIS was initially.....when I say simple, I mean it's simple like one of those Amar Chitra Katha fables....lol it's very clear who's evil and who's good and how good tries to fight against evil....there aren't any typical Leena show waali gaslighting Didis....yahaan vamp manages to hoodwink some people but overall the heroine has her number and isn't busy propping her up😆......again, it REALLY helps that Banni isn't related to any of these losers....lol faltu ki Didi/Chachi/Bua nahin hai uski koi that she has to be shown obligatory defending them like all Leena show characters do.

Meanwhile yeh bhaisaab alag level ka cringe failaane mein busy hain😆

WTF was that lame stunt about Deepika ke liye phool tod ke leke jaaunga from some mountain? Good lord....please stop marketing your relationship in every platform. And such a weird show ki har interactive option play out karo what viewers want you to do.....lol Bigg Boss se bhi aage level ke bandar banke naacho to fulfill logon ki controlling fantasies? 😆

Hahah oh i tried watching woh Akshay Kumar wala epi ek dafah ya ek aur series on netflix ouat and yeah the whole interactive angle pissed me off so annoying it would never end and iska bhi ussi din teaser saw for few secs and went pass.. bhai isme hardly anything wild hai.. aheeb hi kuch outside setting ain faltu program hai 😆

And this makes me super excited to catch up matlab how long it has been we have gotten aisa show jahan lines are drawn this clearly and faltu ke armies nahi hain evil ko defend karne ke liye.

LOL well I would still caution you to not get overexcited about this show. Aage cliches ka full scope hai but I'm just taking it for the straightforward story for now. Acting and scene execution is decent so its watchable for now. Beech beech mein thoda poignancy bhi le aate hain with Yuvaan ki Maa wala angle and how he tries to search for his mother's love and teachings in everything.

Banni apni taraf se dabangg rehti hai with her bajaaoing all the villains in the story....lol and her food analogies continue to be 😆.....har cheez mein 10 sabjiyon ke metaphors use karti hai😆....abhi latest is her calling that Head vamp Manini - Funtooshi Madam😆.....and kal ke epi mein she had like a 5 minute monologue on the kind of guy she will be willing to marry....itni sabjiyon and masaale waale analogies the usmein, it was hard to keep up😆....

They built the backstory of the heroine's powers around the folklore of Djinns in desi culture😆.....but unlike the way ITV ruins all supernatural concepts by making hormonal slow motion jodis or saas-bahu drama around it, American culture sticks to teenage angst😆.....and that is why it still works within that domain.

I'm just reminded of all the tall claims by ITV producers and heroines ki logon ko GoT cool lagta hai cuz of dragons and hum supernatural stories dikhaayein toh log tacky bolte hain.....lol bhai tum log saas-bahu se aage soch nahin paaye in supernatural concept also aur gore log tumhare hi culture ke concepts uthaa ke mass market kar rahe hain successfully.....mubarak ho😆

They are showing stuff like Djinns and looping it into interdimensional travel storyline so easily in the larger Marvel universe.....lol but ITV continues on its self-defeating path....Djinns dikhaane hain toh sasta harry potter banke....lol and baaki time daayans/bhootnis busy in cheap saas-bahu games....lol....but still they will whine endlessly about why people look down on them😆
