Wow . You've been to few Arab countries.. 😃 Did you study there?

My children did😆, My husband was transferred from one country to another over a period of time. My kids also speak English at home, they went to international schools, however they speak Urdu with relatives in Pakistan or people who aren’t fluent in English. I’m Pakistani Canadian living in Canada. I’m not a student 😆

I know a family who relocated to an Arab country. Their kids go to a British school. One of their kids was even born there but none of them can speak Arabic. They never needed to learn it. So it’s not unrealistic that the kids in this drama cannot speak Turkish.

The kids’ performances aren’t very good though, but I don’t know if that’s the directors fault because it’s a problem with most child actors in Pakistan. They very rarely come across naturally and have stilted dialogue delivery. I honestly feel like the directors don’t know how to direct children.

Oh I thought you were talking about your childhood.😳 I am glad now you are settled in your country . There's nothing better than that. I've lived in Kuwait for 6 yrs.. but I didn't make any friends there..😕 I was busy with my little babies, also felt that ppl aren't friendly there.😒 I lived in Iraq before and had many friends , maybe coz I studied there.😃

Today’s episode was too good. I could feel the tension.

This show is turning out way better than what I had expected initially. Everytime something unexpected happens happen and till now its fast paced. Hiba is doing great job.

I would like this show more if Kooki had a voice, why she tells noone even her husband, that she found out her husband has been cheating on her.

This show is very engrossing. There is this simmering tension in the air- and that echoes the pressure cooker situation that has been caused by Cookie's mysterious and abrupt disappearance and her consequent appearance.

I also like the social commentary at play about the social roles that a woman is expected to perform and what happens when she stops conforming and decides to rebel. The mistress angle is a bit cliched but maybe that was the catalyst for Cookie to introspect about her "pehchaan". And the best part is to watch the other characters run circles around Cookie like headless chickens while she uses silence as her weapon and refuses to budge or even divulge what led to her actions.

Why are we assuming there is a mistress? Did I miss something? The story that cookie told her husband doesn’t mean he is having an affair.
