This is so very true… I have seen marriages fail and marriages survive on how the first year/first few months (lot of understanding/communication/compromising) was handled… some marriages didn’t last the test of time even when the love for each other before marriage was so strong.

agree completely! 1st year of marriage is most difficult because you are still in the process of understanding each other’s likes/dislikes/ triggers etc. After that, you sort of know how your partner will react to a particular situation/topic and so you always know how to navigate through a sensitive conversation in a way that wouldn’t hurt your partner’s feelings.Originally posted by: jani_faizal

First year is when there is most fights, most hurt but it also results into that much deeper love, understanding and respect. And to be honest, family does play a BIG role in the couple’s dynamics.
I will be so happy if this show is successful in portraying that beautiful journey of marriage without getting into silly ego fights/mu/separations/divorces and remarriages. So far they have kept it real (almost) and I hope they keep it that way.
