Sayisha seems okayish this time. But I still like her confidence on stage. I think Tohfa was sung by Danish and Aru when PD was down with COVID. It sounds better in PD’s voice- my honest opinion!

Rohan sings well - the grouse I (and some others) have is the focus on the drama. They should just focus in his singing because he does a good job.

After watching the promos....

Faiz - I hope the full performance is better than that 1 line i that is shown here.

I feel Rituraj seems to have done well.

I really liked Sayisha. Biased too, perhaps.

Rohan - they need to get the focus back on his singing.

Pawandeep and Arunita ... Well they are them.

Honestly this is what I prefer. The songs given to contestants need not be related to the guests at all. It limits creativity in the show. But only few contestants singing songs for the guests while others are not limited in their song selection, is not fair.

And only Sony does this thing where they perform only on the guest's songs Hated it in SD, hate it here. An end tribute would be fine, but an entire weekend of songs of the guest, who're mostly 90s and 80s folks... no thanks 🤪

I like the fact that guests who are the original lip have some back story to share many times and really know how the original was sung. You notice that when they lip lines when some contestants sing.
The 80's and 90's is here to stay. Voice India 3 tried more modern songs. It was a big flop despite the aura of AR..

I think in the finale we are going to see a face off / duel of duets between Arunita - Faiz and Pawandeep - Sayisha, and they will have joint winners Faiz and Sayisha.

These duets are to SS2 what "Arudeep" duets were to II12.

I guess that's why they do it - for the backstory that seem to interest many people. Problem is, it's the same guests, same songs, sometimes same stories over multiple seasons of different shows

@bold: I'm fine with old songs. Just wish it was a mix up of both. You can't call a Chunky Pandey or a Sonali Bendre and expect a dhamakedaar weekend It sets the mood early itself. My opinion.

Just before Sayisha is about to go to "ae ae ae ae ae", Pawandeep can be seen about to guide her with his hand movements before the camera cuts away from him.

Aruna seems to be doing well with the song. I think SMP sang this in II12 and I liked her version of this song.
