You just said it . I have been wanting to watch a good college romantic pak drama but alas, they are busy making two wives fighting for a man, or mother in law or husband torturing their daughter in laws or wives, or toxic love glorification. 😳
Pak dramas need to really step up their game and also impose less restrictions on dramas so that the makers can have more options.
Is it soo hard to have romcoms or college romance without all the marriage talks. Even though pak dramas talk about divorce way too much they are also way too obsessed with getting 19-20yr old female leads married. It's like jat shaadi pat divorce🤣
I guess one of the main reasons why they just stick to these multiple wives and toxic mother in law story is because they don't want to get in trouble. Pakistani audience and censor board creates a mountain out of a mole and try to ban dramas. I have heard that udaari faced some heat for showing such a sensitive topic and even Dil na umeed toh nahi also faced some backlash if i am not wrong.
I will never get how censor board don't have any problem with husbands hitting their wives just for raising their voice but have problem with them showing affection. I was kind of skeptic when Hamza was getting a little bit romantic with hala and thought they will get hate.
I also saw how some people pointed fingers qt sajal for doing bare minimum intimate scenes in ishq e laa and blaming her scenes in thqt drama for her divorce
