Also, i do not understand the game of ratings and online popularity few dramas get. I mean ,ASA is still better than many I have watched in past just because they were popular and i had such bad experience.

There was this drama called Kahin Deep Jale, i watched it for Imran Ashraf, OST and popularity on YT. I literally wanted to bang my head why i even watched it. The male lead character was so annoying that i wanted to punch his face. He was no less than psycho, possessive husband with trust issues. Here, it is so difficult for me to handle a changed Naima, there male lead too changed after certain episodes. Although he gets redeemed though and is forgiven by the female lead.

Then there is another drama called Jalan i watched out of why it is popular, another disappointment. Too much negativity.

And then thia drama called Teri Rah mein, which got ratings close to a master piece like Sinf e ahan. I was like how? Every character was meh, writing was weak, no chemistry, no content, and it used to be TRP topper. it got ratings like that of 10+

I watched this another drama of Usama called Mere Apney on ARY and it was also one of the TRP toppers with 8+ ratings and it was bad too.

Among all three dramas of Usama, he did with ARY, ASA is getting least ratings when it is far better than other two of his.

Also, dramas like Ishq Jalebi , which is quite a good one has not got many views and ratings. Nonetheless, it did give a good platform for Wahaj to shine. 😆

Amidst all the discussions about different characters, we somehow missed Wahab's side of story. Like you have explained before, i also feel, he has found a better compainion in form of Zainab with whom he feels more free and with no guilt. His relationship with Zainab looks different than he had with Naima. Him taking all the stress of not being a good husband and father , has been one big reason of him getting sick. One can easily notice how he wants that appreciation and attention too from his son but he is also not a kind of person to dominate like Naima. He let the other person to go his or narural way, hence. His lacking strong stand for himself against Naima and Shehroz kinda proves, despite being the successful businessman , that he feels very guilty of the condition of Naima and Shehroz blaming him all the time has made him feel worse.

something I noticed in the swimming pool scene where shehroze was crying -- shehroze was not ashamed to show his father that he was in tears. he didn't feel less like a man and neither did he feel the need to hide it. and see how wahab reacts - that was a man-to-man father-son moment where they were on equal terms and also both open and honest with each other. wahab said that because of ushna, his son was talking to him and he wanted more of that in the future. the marriage of a mother-daughter duo has brought shehroze and wahab closer in unexpected ways. there is a tie between them of in-laws as well as father and son -- that excludes naima.

for the first time, naima has to share being a parent with wahab. another possible reason for naima's meltdown -- she may be subconsiously jealous of wahab's slowly emerging closeness with shehroze because it leaves her out in the cold....

That exact thing was wrong with Raeesa, she never wanted to acknowledge that her frozen freeze was desperate for Ushna, she was happy cursing a girl.

Naima saying that is the funniest thing considering she liked ushna the first time she saw her and wanted her for her son. Ushna didn't even speak at that time. So obviously what she liked was how beautiful ushna was.

Also did she think her young son is some kind of brahmachari? They already live under the same roof and he still wants to have ruksati as soon as possible 🤣.

According to all these mothers their sons are doodh Peeta huai becha jiski innocence hadapne keliye khubsoorat ladkiya paida hui hai.

Even in arrange marriages mothers will be trying to find the prettiest and fairest wives for their sons and when after marriage these sons start being closer to their wives they will blame the wives for seducing their innocent sons. 😔

I guess one of the main reason why all the guys in the show are crazy over ushna is because she is very beautiful. Casting anmol baloch was a good choice considering is conventionally very beautiful.

that is a good question. spnfan jokingly said that so many PK dramas just toss out divorce word so easily but wonder if the reason for that is marriage is not seen like a relationship. meaning, it is defined as cooking, cleaning the house, sex and bearing children. technically these tasks can be done by anyone and so just replace one woman with another if it is not working out the mother-in-law. maybe that is the attitude? they refuse to see the emotional ties and companionship and what a marriage means? that even if a woman cannot clean, cook or bear children, the marriage is just as real and valid? maybe it is also seen that way because many men don't get involved emotionally and therefore, it is not necessary if he likes the girl or matters if he has no interest in her or hates her. it is all about whether the mother likes her because she is technically looking for a househelp?

there are some dramas that generate reactions and discussions. this happens to be one where we are having so much fun chatting. whereas with some dramas, you just watch and have zero feels or thoughts. it is just time pass. no one has anything to say and so the thread is just quiet. not sure why that is.

Exactly, I do feel , Wahab low key wants Ushna and Zainab to stay not because out of relationship status or humanity but because he wants too. He can notice the change in his relationship with his son. Like you said, Naima was always the sole decision maker and now things have changed and she is getting pissed with this.

Waise, i dont know whether you have watched Angna or not, the actress Rubina Ashraf, played the same character there. She was too controlling her son for everything and her son even slapped his wife because of her. She played a single mom there and also a businesswoman and could not tolerate her son being close to his wife.😆

From whatever i have seen of Teri rah mein, the fl was this weak woman that get tortured by everyone and i guess pakistan ho ya india trp aunties ko tortured female leads kaafi pasad hai. Also i think 7pm dramas get more rating than 9pm dramas. Compared to both mere apne and Teri rah mein, ak sitam aur is more youthful and the female lead exactly isn't that sanskari. I have seen comments on YouTube hating on ushna just because she gives it back to shehroze 😕. I think tere rah mein don't even have a page on this forum and i don't find much pics or VMS under its hastage on Instagram or Twitter. It's kind of obvious that it didn't create any buzz in the social media and was simply watched by trp aunties at 7pm.

I think ishq jalebi had good rating and it had higher rating than chupke chupke at the start. Everyone loved wahaj and madiha's chemistry. It's just that chupke chupke became way too popular and was the talk of the town.
