Exactly, it is so clear that she does not care about khoon and Khandan even now. It is more like she cannot control her son anymore, things are getting out of her hands and Ushna's dadi gave her a big reason so that she can use that as a weapon against them.

have been thinking about wahab -- while stroke is a natural phenemenon, it can also happen due to stress. in our relatives side, this aunty had a stroke as she couldn't handle looking after uncle by herself (he was in early onset of dementia) and got extremely worried when the lockdown was announced. caregiver's stress got to be too much for her. many of the aunt's relatives were really annoyed at the kids and took them to task for not offering enough support to their mom.

in this drama, I think something similar happened. both naima and shehroze blamed wahab for not being there to alleviate the stress and thus being an indirect cause of the stroke. wahab never complained and just took on all of shehroze bad mouthing because he felt guilty. since he had not built a close father-son relationship from childhood and they had always been distant, the stroke became a bigger hurdle to cross. they could not have man-to-man talks as father and son about anything.

naima did not course correct shehroze because she too blamed wahab on one level for being absent through their marriage and for her having to do everything on her own. that is why she allowed shehroze to talk -- he was essentially expressing the frustration that she couldn't.

as I think about it, more than shehroze, it is wahab that needs to take naima on hand and bring her under control. for so long, pity and guilt meant that naima took all the decisions and was given utmost importance in the house. even though she was sick, she was allowed to be the decision maker and this gave her a sense of autonomy and freedom.

many patients and those who are sick really struggle with not being able to be in control and there is a lot of anger and frustration that they cannot make decisions for themselves. up to a certain point, people cater to a patient but the gloves come off as caregivers get tired. when caregivers need to make their own indendent decisions, conflict occurs.

in this case, the family revolved around her wants, needs and thoughts. now, she is being relegated to the side which is why she is having a meltdown. in some ways, it is delayed patient meltdown. in addition to being a saas issue, there is also the dynamics of her not feeling in control because she is in a wheelchair and is unwell.

In some scenes of shehroze it's so obvious that they shot one scene a long time back and it's continuation scene recently. Shehroze in the office had a different hairstyle and little stubble and when he reaches home to feed ushna he had this hairstyle with too much gel and a fully grown beard 😆.

I personally like his hairstyle with less gel and little stubble 😊. He looks more good looking that way.

Ushna's daadi irritated me as much as sufiyan irritated me throughout the drama with just one scene. I so wanted zainab to give her a tight slap without considering her age. Paagal aurat. How much hatred should be inside her to find her granddaughter who she never met and they go to her in-law's house and then say those nasty things? The woman didn't even went to see her dead son but has all the time in the world to spew venom at his granddaughter.

Naeema and shehroze should be more worried about ushna turning out to be like her daadi than her mother 🤣

Amidst all the discussions about different characters, we somehow missed Wahab's side of story. Like you have explained before, i also feel, he has found a better compainion in form of Zainab with whom he feels more free and with no guilt. His relationship with Zainab looks different than he had with Naima. Him taking all the stress of not being a good husband and father , has been one big reason of him getting sick. One can easily notice how he wants that appreciation and attention too from his son but he is also not a kind of person to dominate like Naima. He let the other person to go his or narural way, hence. His lacking strong stand for himself against Naima and Shehroz kinda proves, despite being the successful businessman , that he feels very guilty of the condition of Naima and Shehroz blaming him all the time has made him feel worse.

One more thing from these khandani oldies were simply gold. Ushna's Dadi said that uske bete ko husn ke jaal mein fasa liye. How did he meet the dancer? There was any regular mujra session at her home? Obviously he was going there for his own entertainment.

Naima said that Ushna trapped her son in khubsoorti Ka jaal. What exactly do they think about marriage? Why do people get married? To celebrate Raksha Bandhan inside bedroom? Isn't physical attraction one of the reason? Naima's khandani beta is more desperate for Rukhsati, not because he wants to save the electric bill of one extra bedroom by shifting Ushna in his room, he's obviously physically attracted towards her. And there's nothing wrong in that? After getting married, they are not suppose to find 'husn' and 'khubsoorti' in neibours wife, his own wife is there for a reason.

The way they keep giving free pass to their own khandani ladlas and keep blaming women to save their khandani as* with arguments like "Woh toh mard hai", "Woh to nasamajh hai". It looks like they want to keep their khandani beta forever in diaper and feeder zone. Just go around and tarnish the character of a girl. That exact thing was wrong with Raeesa, she never wanted to acknowledge that her frozen freeze was desperate for Ushna, she was happy cursing a girl.

Usama also looks younger that way. I loved his look when he was roasting sufiyan in his office.

How in the world are we supposed to belive that shehroze is atleast 5-6yrs older than sufiyan and hunifa.
