Tbh Adi trusting dd can b justified as they were bffs 4ever nd all Adi saw nd knew was dds saccharine nature nd how much she has adjusted 4 Adi . He was just used to her demi Godess selfless nature nd persona nd even let go off Adi for his happiness atleast that's how she showed nd behaved infront of Adi gaining his trust. Tbh Adini was just habituated to eo esp Adi nd 4 dd it was obsession by hook or crook she needed Adi nd in d process she lost herself. Adi was a victim of dds narcissism and gaslighting while dds behavior can be traced to her parents'toxic married life nd it might have made her insecure and possessive about her relationships nd she located her emotional stability on Adi that's y she was beyond repair post Adni breakup . These r d reasons y we r able to empathize with Adi nd even dd to an extent nd this is y the relationship got complex after Imlie's entry nd y d trio clicked . So dds obsessive behavior is kind of justified ( except glorifying coercion (rape in the name of love nd right nd that human trafficking incident ). Adi got tuned to dd nd it's extremely difficult for him to understand her other shade and Imlie too didn't give him the chance nd her sherlockhome syndrome worsened things further . Moreover if we think from dds shoes how would one feel that the man whom u loved selflessly considers u only as a friend and the marriage was an accident and someone else is his love it's heartbreaking as well as traumatizing especially when you have spent 7yrs nd it was Adi who asked for marriage . But the character lost that goodness d day she made those classic remark abt Imlie . One thing is sure whether imlie is there or not Adini would fall apart her extremely smothering love like bombarding with calls every now nd then nd putting all her needs aside nd jst concentrating on Adi all proves how insecure nd obsessed she's nd adni argument where Adi says he feels suffocated (GM nailed it)indicates the toxicity in their marriage nd it will fall apart soon. All these complexities kept ppl hooked nd all 3 r wronged in someway or d other unlike an a$#@# who forcefully intruded into Adilie's life snatching everything from Adi on d basis of a half baked revenge which wasn't even existing so how will audience connect with his family nd love life and how can Jo's action b justified nd wat depth audience will feel 4 such nonsensical chars that holds no value whatsoever in the story. So without Adi everything falters especially dds existence nd I don't think audience give a damn abt jb nd his story that's y everything flopped after Adi nd ts were wiped off! I strongly feel d show would have still been successful with Manasvi as Adi if they cont with Adilie 2.0 but wat can we say 4 ppl who has arrogance and overpowering ego now the ruin of this show is confirmed .
