I dont think that is true. The plot of the show has nothing to do with the amount of screen space/priveleges that is enjoyed by an actor.
They know what audience likes/dislikes in terms of content. Yet they choose to disregard it just to accommodate certain offscreen equations. And that has been glaringly obvious for months now.
If you dont see that it is completely fine coz its your opinion and you are very much entitled to that.
But imo there is enough evidence that NB as an experienced actor, ML gets a lot more attention, priveleges in terms of time-off etc offscreen from the PH and makers .
None of that has ever reflected in his characterization which has always been very inconsistent.
Despite the criticism of his character, if they have held off on bringing a new ML or even a proper parallel track of another guy in the show- despite audience in their frustration demanding a new ML, its because they do favor him.
Its the same for his wife too. She has got a very long rope even though her performance and onscreen character are utterly puke worthy as per a huge chunk of the audience.
Because if not for favoritism or off screen equations, it should be quite easy for them in the itv business to change the script, axe a character from the show or introduce a new twist, new character.
Its happened in tamarind and many other shows. They tried to change the actor and eventually axed the character because audience preferred Aryan-imlie over imlie-aditya.
But In ghkkpm all the twists happen to force more cringe n content pertaining to PP or V or both in the show.
