@bold: I think that's exactly what's going to cause the drama. Whatever the issue was or is, they've clearly done their best to brush it under the carpet and continue on in their lives, even if it's always in the back of their minds. But this looks like one of their biggest wounds for the family and now it's being poked and prodded at.

I am sure I am in the minority but I don't feel that Kanitkars have betrayed Vartaks by not telling them about Avantika. Some wounds are far too brutal and deep for people to dig them and let anyone even see them, let aside allowing anyone to comfort them.

We don't know what happened. We don't know what it has taken for them to learn to live without their daughter. We don't know what it takes for them to go on with a smile everyday when the longing for their daughter is so intense that they cannot even bring over their lips.

To tell Vartaks would have needed them to go back to the same misery that they seemed to have somehow gotten themselves out of.

Kabhi kabhi kuch baate aisi hoti hai jo aap nahi bol sakte rather nahi bolna chahte.

Is it right and fair? I don't know. Is it realistic? I think, it is. People do have skeletons in the closet that they would like if stay in the closet.

What I'm against is her stubbornness in dealing with it. Out of the two leads, or actually the whole family, she is supposed to be the one that understands emotions the most so she should understand how sensitive this is. She's seen how disturbed Mai was at the picnic after just hearing the name and she's seen DK and Mai actually fighting on this matter and now she's seen Kukki, who is always on her side no matter what, actually hiding something from her. So she should at least understand that the matter is sensitive and try to find out calmly instead of acting like a brat. If she has asked everyone calmly first and they refused to tell her and then she acted stubborn, I would be 100% with her.

After all, isn't this the same girl that was about to get up and leave when Sua Aai was feeding her, just because they brought up the topic of her mom.

Appu has shown maturity and perhaps here she will too but thus far especially after the stubbornness in DK and Mai’s room, she has yet to show that. I am

sure she will get better and take care of it more maturely but she hasn’t gotten there yet. She will understand the sensitivity of the matter after DK blows and Khadus talks to her I think.

Focus on her here. She has shown emotional maturity at times , in Bhaskar case she took initiatives. Same when Vidya locked herself before appu was even married into the house. She consoled her beautifully. I cried.

Itna growth dikha ke, usko side me leke samjhaya hota toh.

That’s what is my point too, tell her, she is one of the family member. If you hide she would try to dig out more, it’s human nature. If they explain and tell her she would understand, she is not stupid. No one should yell at her.

We will need some entertainment while we deal with this serious drama…

I wonder if it is indeed that intercast marriage thing like someone had come up with here the other day. I wonder if that holds Shashank back from making Apurva aware of it, knowing that once she comes to know about it, it won't seem a reason valid enough to Appu to end ties with Avantika and she will try to find Avantika and get her back. 🤔

Ok so a random thought here:

What if they are setting the stage for Appu to leave the house? Like maybe they switch it around? Would DK call Dr. K complaining about Apu? I don’t see him doing that but I don’t know just a thought.

Mujhe bhi lag raha tha ye! I don't think DK will do that but maybe the family outburst would be a bit too severe, leading her to get hurt and leave? She might think that they don't truly consider as her family and that is why they are not sharing about Avantika to her? 😳

Appu Ghar Jayegi track seems like still has some hope. 😆

I wanted appu to leave the house becuase of khadus and their issue not the family being reponsible….

But you never know in itv drama…dr, k is back, so may be they can use him for that,

May be family will apologize later. Khadus will miss her and then realize her importance..but also he not standing up for his wife wouldn’t be nice…..

This week will be heavy and intense so gear up gals. Writers stretch those fingers 😂! There will be tears, anger, harsh words, comfort and anguish this week. We will be lucky if we get good Shappu moments but nonetheless we will need stories to keep our moods lifted 😬
