I agree I hate that too . You know what I hate more is how most of these shows are produced by women who themselves are independent especially ekta's shows where once woman get married she has no.identity except being wife. No job, no career nothing. And their only job is to get cheated by their husbands , being thrown out by them and then take them back.

Most progressive thing they do is walk out of marriage with a secret baby . Raise the child without toxic father around find a nice gentleman let him play daddy to the child while the FL still nurses the love for that toxic husband and still lead the nice gentleman on. Come back do trip falls with the husband. And make the villain out of nice gentleman . EK shows in a nutshell

Those toxic husband actually suck in all the progress and positivity from FL life . Because all the FL do after getting back with husband is pacify him, pacify family, drive away the third woman who played substitute wife while the wife was away 🤣
