Chalo yeh sufiyan aur baki useless characters kaam thy jo daadi bhi agayi 🤪
I loved your perspective on Naima. As much as I mentioned Naima behaving crazy, she has not turned into evil. She is impulsive and panicking at the most. She is not bad but frustrated at max. We saw this shade of Naima earlier too. When Wahab got sick , she panicked very badly, and took an impulsive decision to get him married. She has been shown as a patient person generally but when it comes to taking decisions, she has been impatient at times. Her frustration at this point is justified. Like I said before, she is more pissed with Zainab than anyone else. She is not able to accept Zainab being indifferent towards her son when Naima accepted, protected Ushna as her daughter. Somehow, Ushna is paying the price of her mother's stupidity, changed and ignorant behaviour. Naima was nice with Ushna when Shehroz was getting discharge, she changed mainly because of Zainab. She saw a companion in Zainab, a younger sister and she is angry with her and coming to conclusion that Ushna might be like her mother too hence her behaviour towards Ushna. The only way Naima can get back to her normal self when Zainab takes a firm stand against her brother and nephew and stand firmly with Naima which I am not being able to see coming anytime soon after seeing the promo.
Also, like you said, Naima was the main decision maker in the family. Wahab and Shehroz always kept her above themselves. With Zainab and Ushna coming, and in this whole situation, Shehroz is siding with Ushna and she thinks Wahab too is siding with Zainab over her , hence her frustration gets doubled.
For the first time Sufiyan did not irritate me that much. If he is given less screen space , I will not mind . I am fine with it. I loved the episode yesterday. For a change, I want Sufiyan and Sadaf to be a team, ( Wish they were cousins and not siblings, would have loved to see , them coming together and fall back ).
PS: Sadaf is a good actress.
can someone explain to me the significance of rukhsati and how it works. googled it but am not sure I understand it at all. is it a big formality? or something small? does it mean that the wedding is not fully valid if this function does not happen? if the rukhsati does not happen, does it mean shehroze and ushna are only partially married? what about consumation of marriage? is it related ot this function or has no bearing at all? what exactly are the implications and fallbacks if this function does not happen for these two at this point?

The moment sufiyan says things like main onko juda karky chodon ga blah blah he irritates me 😏
Tried watching the latest ep with subs, but it's hard to, Sufiyan's gaslighting and victim role play got me so upset. Even when Ushna has taken a clear stand against him, he acts like she has an obligation to him and to his feelings. He is denying her rights to refuse contact with him and that is disgusting behavior.
I can't even be mad at Naima, Zainab needs to cut her relatives out of her life immediately. She needs to look out for herself and Ushna, not her disloyal brother and his dumb son. What have they done for her? Nothing but grief. They had taken her shares happily so she doesn't owe them anything.
I don't mind Ushna's grandmother being introduced as a storyline, I just wished that was the main conflict instead of messing up Zainab and Naima's characters. Argh, and that doofus is gonna feature heavily again and I'm not sure I can handle anymore Sufiyan getting his way. 😳
Ek toh expressions nahi hain upat se inka over dose and then creepy dialogues like
Pagal toh main ho gaya hoon tumhaaare liye
Kyun ye sitam humpar
Just gives me the creeps

he has always acted like she has an obligation to his feelings. like they are so high and mighty that no one else is allowed to have feelings. but am wondering what else can ushna do here in this situation. she has clearly told him repeatedly that seh is married, she has no feelings for him and yet, he is behind her. what should be the options that she can take to protect herself? is it because she is not reallly aware of how evil that family can be and so giving them the benefit of doubt is endangering them?
hope the writer comes up with a clear arc on such gaslighting and manipulation should be handled. if done well, it can teach viewers on how best to handle such people and what not to do. really don't want some weird redemption arc where he and his family magically become good. instead, lets have them pay the price for their madness.
