I also dislike movies where Hero falls for a girl and when he describes her, he says she is so masoom and so I fell for her masoomiyat. Gadha kahin ka. I don’t know what writers mean through masoomiyat.

Bholi si surat, masoom, etc.must imply organic extra virgin olive oil. For none other than a playboy about to turn into a gentleman very soon.

Your first trope reminds me of that stupid movie Laadla where Anil Kapoor "tames" a boss lady like Sridevi who runs an entire company on her own with hundreds of employees under her into a submissive housewife at the end who giggles and packs lunch for him in a bai outfit. 🤢

With Sridevi and Anil kapoor, it reminds me of another mega cringe 😬 movie titled Judaai. Sridevi sells Anil to a foreign return Urmila who’s for some reason horny for a married man with two bloody kids. After buying Anil from sridevi, out of the blue urmila starts behaving like a kaam wali baai and wins Anil’s heart. Now Sridevi is bored without Anil in bed and starts slapping urmila for provoking her greedy soul.

This movie was too good to be true, you can cringe and puke and still not understand who loved Anil kapoor genuinely?

Laadla was a torture. Raveena’s character was so stupid. Bas mahaan banate hi jao. For your ex’s new biwi. 😆

When I wrote about that hero slaps heroine and she turns ekdum gaay, I had a Jackie shroff movie in my mind. I don’t remember name but I do remember him slapping her and then starts the song where they fell in love. 🤷‍♀️ Just yesterday while surfing the TV, I saw another Jackie movie where he twists heroine’s hand and she goes — itna jor se hath marod ki Kya jarurat thi (all sweet n sugary and naughty voice). I puked and changed the channel.

Best scene was Sridevi pushes Anil in Urmila’s room and he goes muh latka ke. 🤣 Gaya toh tha muh latka k, end mein aa gaya Bachha. 😉

It always feels creepy and cringe

Watch Mann with manisha koirala, mela, thugs of Hindustan, even some bits in Dil chahta hai (the satisfaction when akshay slaps aamir 👍🏼❤️)

Salmans a much better actor when it comes to playing these roles imo…even tho aamir is the better actor in almost all other aspects
