there is delusion and then there is sufiyan level delusion. even if it was true that she married out of shehroze, sufiyan would never truly accept ushna if she came back to him because he would compare things to shehroze her entire life. his parents would make her life miserable and constantly look down on her. so who is the cage? even if she miserable, life with shehroze is infinitely better -- that was zainab's call and she is so right!!!

but yea, ushna needs to be blunt but who knows if he will listen. maybe he will only do so when he sees the two of them together happy

Just watched the latest ep with subs and the relationship between Shehroz and Ushna is so beautifully written. How they slowly started to open up to each other and getting closer, they're both being more tender and the banter is so playful. Omg, I just couldn't stop giggling at their scenes together. They are just so comfortable around each other now, and it shows with how Shehroz will go holding Ushna's hand and how she clung to him when she got scared.

Shehroz expressing his love just shows how mature he is in his outlook about love. And how completely he will accept Ushna for who she is, no matter what. Okay, I found it a bit funny too, because he's turned into Zuni's ideal husband, a millionaire with status that chases after his wife. 😛

I know this drama got extended since the ratings are good, and the crew is still filming. But I hope soooo badly that this family's relationship doesn't get butchered. 😒 I'm just loving how understanding everyone is, and how they care for one another. The camaraderie that they all share is just too precious.

Nice to see Shujaat being assertive, he's done everything he could only to be met with insults or being ignored. I like how he told off his brother, he's not the one that should be ashamed, and he's not the one fooling around with their dad's business and legacy. Rafaqat has been plenty rude with his siblings all these years, nice to see him getting a taste of his own medicine.

Sadaf is delusional as well, glad to see Ushna not taking the verbal abuse from her. It's ridiculous how this family blames her for everything and continues to disrespect her as they please. The more they all act like this, the more they're proving how wise Zainab's decision is.

This!! This is the only thing which annoys me about Ushna. Sufiyan's delusion went to next level only because of Ushna not taking a firm stand and telling him to back off. She never did that, and hence Sufiyan went into believing that she loves. I even understand Shehroz being insecure before about Sufiyan until yesterday when shr clarified that it was not Sufiyan because she said no to Shehroz's proposal. I will not completely blame Sufiyan because somewhat Ushna's lack of clear stand for herself and confused behaviour gave him this delusional confidence.

Damn , the way you wrote describing those sequences made me rewatch the episode more. I completely loved Shehroz's perspective of love to accept her as she is and making her understand what true love is. He is not imposing his love on her but giving her space to accept him the way he is. He will not change but still is ready to show his soft side towards her on her demand. I also loved when he says , only his mom loves him the most and she makes face, deep down she also want to be that person and Shehroz was indirectly hinting to her. I knew , Shehroz is gonna fall first , but in this way that he goes to this extent to keep aside his ego to persuade her is something endearing to watch. His ego is very much visible when he says- "Go back Shehroz." while contemplating his feelings for Ushna. His eyes said everything how he was so torn between his feelings for her and his ego but he let his ego aside later and chose to express what he felt about her.

That scene where he says, "Sirf mai hi hu tumhare paas." says a lot how he has accepted her in his life. Like a gentleman which Ushna thought he was not , he opens the door for her and calms her down and listens to her softly.

I know right!! How beautiful the writer has written the characters and their relationship dynamics. You have described them so beautfully!! This is the reason why I am little disappointed in director when he could have used these dymamics to his strength. I wanted to see more of Wahab, Naima , Zainab , Shehroz and Ushna. How Zainab and Shehroz's relation develops (We have seen very little of them). How Ushna and Zainab becomes a reason for Shehroz' s relation with his father getting fixed. Ah! But the director successfully wasted a potential drama which would been more beautiful if focus was less on negative family members and Sufiyan .

The love that Shehroz offers to Ushna is so mature, positive, and feel good. He's telling her that it's okay to be herself, because he loves her for who she is, and that gives Ushna a sense of safety and respect.

He's so different from Sufiyan that childishly professes his love in such a fake grand way that feels like a stage act, that embarrasses Ushna more than have her feeling giddy. Shehroz doesn't put conditions on his love unlike Sufiyan, who expects Ushna to act accordingly to how he wishes. He doesn't give her any respect because her feelings/thoughts/opinion doesn't matter to him if it's not what he wants.

I hate him and his family so much because they don't think twice about smearing someone's name and character, or using someone's adoption as a card to be played. Ushna and Zainab are human beings with emotions, they're not your pawns that can be played with however you want. They have the right to do what they want, yet this basic right gets thrown out the window, they have no agency to do or choose anything because Sufiyan and co will decide for them. I get so angry when Sufiyan says crap like I'll stop you or you can't do this to me etc, like who do you think you are, king of the universe? Ugh, and he used to emotional blackmail Ushna too, saying all that crap about blood. Dude, with family like yours, who needs enemies. 🤬

I will say now that I'm loving the current track of Sufiyan's family's downfall. I usually skip the family drama but this is too funny not to watch. Everything is falling apart for them and I need to see when Raeesa and Sadaf will see reality like Rafaqat has. Mwahaha. 😈

in this drama, felt bad for ushna actually because this is something that happens in an arranged marriage setup -- you are not averse to a proposal but you don't have any reason to say yes or no either way. basically there is a lack of clarity and information to make a firm decision and therefore, how to formulate a proper answer become problematic. that is why she kept saying that it is all up to zainab -- she was trying to be polite and not embarass any family member. it wasn't a love match from her perspective.

you could also tell that ushna was highly embarassed and felt awkward with sufiyan's declarations. she was also related to him and so she was in a more dicey situation where she felt bad to be completely direct and say that she had no feelings about him that way. she was trying to be polite and let him know indirectly that either way, this is arranged marriage and so it will be zainab that takes the call. it was obvious ushna didn't care about him because she didn't return his calls or messages and she slept. she didn't complain about shehroze and was instead going home with him in the car. like sufiyan said, she fights with everyone and is capabale of putting her foot down, why didn't she? the answer was obvious -- she wasn't bothered that sufiyan was losing out.

however, sufiyan never heard her because he is a self-obsessed prick who only cares about his own feelings. even when he understood that she did not have romantic feelings for him, he still continued to spin the narrative that zainab is some mean stepmother who has blackmailed the poor daughter and basically sold her to shehroze for gain. 🤦

so I think it wouldn't have mattered even if ushna had been upfront from the beginning -- sufiyan, raeesa, rafaqat and sadaf don't care about what others think and feel. they are a selfish entitled lot who think the universe owes them and everyone should cater to their needs.
