Could’ve given you an opinion if I had ever attempted 😆 Though maybe Kathak? Idk the rest like Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam etc require correct expresssions and postures, which takes years of practice I think. Momma might know more 🤪

Waise bhi, kyun? Padhna chahte ho Aastha?

Yes kathak is relatively easier bcoz u have a little flexibility when it comes to postures compared to bharatnatyam. Not sure about others though.

Taking on a new hobby aastha?

I think Kathak is easy to learn compared to the rest of the forms. Plus it's most widely available as far as I've seen, like you would get Kathak teachers all around. But if you really want to dedicate quite a big chunk of your life to learn a classical dance I would recommend either Bharatnatyam or Odissi. Don't think it's an easy dance to learn but it's just so beautiful.

But if either of the classical dances look tough to learn, you can definitely try semi classical. It's probably the easiest of the lot where they mix all the different dance forms and create a dance style.

Shweta reposted one of the videos of this dancer today and went and watched all her reels and it's so nice to see the fever of street-o-classical getting spread across more classical dancers! Also I really want to see this kid in a dance show, just look at her choreographies, she is so graceful! With more training she would turn out to be a really good dancer.
