So why won’t Harsh cut a cake for his anniversary? I mean if he could have a child with Manjari ( assuming Manjari and Harsh are Abhi’s bio parents) what’s the harm in cutting a cake.
I cannot shake off the feeling that there is more to this story.
Who knows. I hope there is more to be revealed about their relationship. All we know now is at least from our understanding Manjari seems to love Harshvardhan. Harshvardhan did not want to marry Manjari but probably did so for the Birla family to get land.
Maybe they had a rocky marriage at the beginning but not so bad that they did their duty and produced a child. After which things could have started to go down hill. I really hope writers have something more to show like Mahima playing tricks that cause Manjari to lose her voice in the family and the trust from Harshvardhan. Maybe a big Birla family secret about Harshvardhan and Anand's parents or grandparents.
I am not excusing the behavior of Harshvardhan but there is so much the writers can do to flesh out the background of the characters and the issue of why this family is so broken beyond just face and ego.
It really is up to the writers.
