It was for a while clear now..i just think she need to be spared with these questions now.. it's fine to not be close to co-stars.. a lot of shows have worked for years and much better than this show in terms of chemistry, even after having at verbal spats between the leads...So this can be worked upon ,if at all PH wants.

I used to love the emotional chemistry Neil Ayesha had at one point of time...They were best then...and certainly the bond Sairat had was adorable...but i see 0 chemistry now..Even when i tried watching the show after Nethraa asked me to I was not able to connect..Not sure its the writing, bonding atmosphere in the set it fir that matter Exhaustion.. they don't connect BOSS...not at all.. kuch hai hi nahi .it's like a job that need to finish. I don't really want to spoil it for people who enjoy, but they don't click anymore for me...from being the best to the worst for me.. and they might be good actors individually but together they don't work, anymore...Reason i could understand now..

I won't argue with that at all Asmi. It has been clear for a long time that their off-screen equation is not great. I am glad Ayesha has been upfront about it rather than paint a rosy picture.

I won't go to Jaffar's time - that was the golden time. But even after that, there used to be a lot of comfort - Sai & Virat used to come off as two best friends & roommates who had a huge crush on each other. So full of charm. I could notice that comfort starting to decrease since Anniversary track. Since then, that comfort level has slowly, steadily been diminishing to the current point. SaiRat are now in love, proper husband-wife so there should be 100x more comfort, familiarity and affection pouring out in the body language. But sadly that is missing now. The hugs have become more romantic, but it lacks warmth. Contrast to Samrat-Sai hug - they have so much affection & comfort. There are still a few scenes that are done very well...have chemistry...most notably the scene where Virat wants s*x but Sai wants to clear the lie with BK, another was a couple of morning after consummation scenes. There are couple of other scenes where both actors perform well..but there is that same issue of something missing. I am still attached to NeilSha because both are very expressive actors and I love watching them together on screen....maybe those are my personal criteria I look for in a couple....but the lack of comfort & chemistry in their body language is certainly very disappointing...especially now during their married phase.

This seems to be a case of their personal equations spilling over to on-screen. Or it could be the hectic, rushed shoots too. If it is off-screen issues, ideally, actors should put that aside when they do a scene together. If they don't, the PH should step in. Either try & see if they can sort things between them or if that is not working, to sit both of them down and tell them to keep their personal grudges aside because it is affecting on-screen. If it is the hectic filming, then they should stop 7-day advance episodes.

They are both there to do a job. Instead the makers, channel, ph everyone seems cool with the bare minimum and allowing people to just do an "ok" job. This show became popular because of Sairat. Two seemingly different people who somehow just fit and are soulmates. And now the ficus is on bakwaas in the name of drama. Sairat ko side kardiya hai, focus is on making Sai get targeted, tortured and show her deal with only pain and hardships. Even seemingly happy events are clouded by rubbish drama and they don't allow us to savor a good scene, good track. Its over before you know it.

To get the essence of old Sairat I think there is no other way than replacing the male lead. The pairing of Neilsha has lost its credibility due to Neil . Sairat should stay but want a new face in place of Neil. I don't give a damn to offscreen shenanigans . But onscreen matters and Ayesha has consistently grown as an actor where as Neil's performance has detoriorated more so when with Ayesha. I started watching the show for Neil as I liked him in DABH as Zakir . Loved Ayesha in first glance but felt loud and needs to improve. But after just few weeks Sai was my favourite in the show. Then loved Sairat . The tremendous growth of Ayesha as an actor and performer is purely due to her hardwork and dedication . Now not only me but I think majority of viewers still watch the show only due to her . And also though the makers have butchered Sai , the essence is still there because of Ayesha. Though Ayesha got fame due to the character of Sai now Sai is only sustainable due to portrayal of that character by Ayesha. If the makers think more of butchering of Sai then nobody can save the show not even Ayesha because there is a limit for everything and the show is full of toxicity.

Agree with you girls..

I think fans crib because their off screen equations sometimes reflects in the scenes.

Otherwise none would bother about bts etc etc..personally I don't care about any such things neither they excite me in any way..

Things went sour since shruti track.. Like really bitter..specially after Ayesha's interview with asjad was published..

Kudos to Ayesha that she often puts affords keeping the negativities away.. Her last SaiRat related post was quite bold.. And I felt little sorry for her even though she was told to do so.. I think most of us face such situations at work place..

Zee intervened between Nia and Ruvey dubey.. rangila once banned a famous ml's wife from the set..

I would agree...

And exactly for the scenes you mentioned... there is still some spark left.

And in the current storyline replacing NB wont work as far I understand.... because the story is set around CN, V's vaada to KJ and all that happened post that...

Replacing NB would mean a complete overhaul of story and Sai's solo journey or a new lead with her... But because she is an orphan and there are no non Chavan relationships for her... Even Pulkit is related to Chavans... the show will have to end. It would be a completely different story... more like a spinoff.

The only solution at the moment is to take time, work on the story and stop advance telecast. Its a practical problem and nothing else. I don't think there will be massive improvement but yes at least the writing can improve and so can the use of BDs. Shooting an episode in 2 days time is anyway better than doing the same in few hours and overworking the entire team. They have been doing this for months... its a blessing no one has fallen ill.

As far as the personal equations are concerned... nobody would bat an eyelid if it doesn't reflect on screen. If onscreen improves, it wont matter who is chummy with whom. šŸ‘šŸ¼

Most importantly though, leads are supposed to suffer in all ITV shows... but there is some payback for the negative characters in the long run and there are some happy moments in between the tracks. If Ghum makers include these two aspects, the show will survive and do good.
