Jab We Met is his best film. I do think it benefits from it being an early days film for him, when his guy with issues meets Manic Pixie dream girl (who has some rather superficial issues of her own) formula was still fresh. But it's also rather simple and comforting. Shahid doesn't get enough praise for being an effective foil to Kareena.

Rather surprised that LAK and Rockstar are both excluded from the poll. I think they are both competitive for a second place in his filmography both quality and popularity wise. Rockstar has almost a cult like following.

Have only watched JWM out of these 4. Only found the first half entertaining, or to be more precise, up until the train journey.

Jab We Met. It still manages to evoke that same wondrous feeling about love in me even after all these years.

And yes, Shahid didn't get enough credit for his portrayal as Aditya when the film released. I think now after more than a decade people are starting to appreciate what a great character Aditya was.

I think that's because Geet was the typical loud, bubbly character which captured attention more easily, and Kareena portrayed the character to perfection. Shahid's role was more understated. There were more nuances. But most people are enticed more by what's more easily visible.
