Episode 528: Misdirected Anger

First things first, contrary to my rant in EDT today, I liked how Virat and Ashwini spoke some facts.

The way Virat said Sai is not going anywhere with finality in his tone (later he was softer but that statement was stern), and Ashwini's statement that Sai is the DIL of the house. Even though I would have liked Virat adding the detail that Sai is his wife and the house is hers. Anyways, I would assume that the ocassion is not correct to talk about a spouse when someone's spouse passed away. fair point.

One more suble thing I liked was how Omi was worried about his elder sister. The brothers and sisters of CN did have some closer bonds, thanks to may be Nagesh Chavan. The way the youngest brother was worried about his oldest sister was heartwarming to see!

Ok coming to the main topic I observed, which I think is deliberate from makers point of view (I hope) is to show how different are anger at situation vs anger at a person. Contrast the anger of Mansi and Pakhi on Sai.

Mansi was angry too when Sai approached her. She was blaming the situation where Sai had to call Samrat. When Sai explained her how she is Sammy's younger sister and how she wants to keep her brother's last wish, Mansi relented. She is the mother who had only the fondest of memories with her only son. No one's hurt now, definitely not Pakhi's could be more than what she is going through. And the son was taken ahead of her in such an young age. The hurt could have killed her. But she still saw the 'truth'. Truth about the situation. Truth about Sai's nature and her bond with Samrat. Her anger subsides.

But Pakhi's is misdirected anger. She must be feeling angry at everything that lead to this situation. And at every point, she found Sai. She was not dealing with situations at any point of time till now. If it was Virat once, then it was only Sai after their marriage. Now also she sees only Sai. She just added another reason to hate her and found the right opportunity to throw her out. If you see the precap, she is not going to listen to anyone. It doesnt look like the anger that would fade away. It is the anger that she doesnt want to let it go. Thats where it looks deliberate. As if she is plotting to send Sai away, and is using the situation.

Virat 'Cool' Chavan explained clearly what Sai was going through and he said 'they' understood her hurt and 'he' kept quiet at her behavior. He actually said they accepted the slap, she doesnt relent. He elaborates the situation and explains her how he asked Sai to take Samrat's help. She doesnt listen. Then she finds some illogical reason by tying this to DevKit's wedding which shows her adamancy to make a point that Sai is wrong. He explains clearly about that situation and takes the blame which is correct. Everyone else follows Virat and tries to assuage her anger. No, she doest. BK intervenes and talks her usual rubbish as the head of the house. If she thinks sai is the cause of Samrat's death, is she saying it is fine if Sai died (along with chirag) or if Virat dies? Or did she mean if Virat had come, he would have handled the situation better? She seems lost. We have to wait for tomorrow to see what she says.

So going back to Pakhi's anger and contrasting with Mansi's, we can see how she made up her mind to oust Sai. She is only using this situation to hate her more. Ofcouse we all know as audience how is she as a person, so it is easy to see her hate for Sai than hurt at Samrat.

Amidst all this, what is incredible is how Pakhi's mom stays absolutely silent. Any mother would intervene here and calms her child. We can now see why Pakhi makes such terrible mistakes like marrying Samrat to stay close to Virat. They did not stop her then, and they did not drive sense into her now. I thought it is intentional this is brought up because, the camera panned on her mother several times. And technically, this is where they should get a BD for Pakhi's dad as he is little saner parent who could have calmed her down. Even if she had not listened to her parents as always, plot wise also it would have established this misguided anger with more effect.

All in all, Pakhi's anger looked like pre-meditated and deliberate. It is something she will make sure to keep alive. So she will spin up more reasons to trouble Sai. Even though it is shown like the anger due to Samrat's death (situation), we all can clearly see it is on Sai(person). Situations will pass, but person stays!

Acting wise, Neil bhatt and Kishore Shahane were top notch. Aishwarya was good in previous episodes but today she lost control. Ayesha didnt have much to do in today's episode.

PS: I really liked how BK broke down during the cremation, she genuinely loved Samrat as her son even though she didnt consider his progeny as CN's heir. But then she took away the sympathy with her rubbish talk that Sai will not be leaving CN not because she is DIL, but because she carries CN's child.

I just saw the episode…

I was expecting this much at least from Ghum .. when things are reasonable.. still they jump at Sai and blame her for everything and throw her out of the house ..

this was a sitting time bomb ..

but I feel the relentless bashing in social media has done some tempering in creatives writing . They have brought virat to the forefront and ashwini too ..

If status quo was like last week .. both sited have meekly kept quiet and let patralekha vomit vitriol ..

With Sonali and omi supporting her ..

patralekha has finally been freed from samrat .. something she wished for she has got .. mind plays various games .. but ultimately does what the heart wants to do

Even when samrat was alive and hale and hearty she was jumping at every instance to throw out Sai

This is a double lottery .. her bond with samrat is broken by death ( till death to us part )

Now if Sai’s ties to virat is broken .. she can get him finally

But alas .. ties of blood is stronger .. Sai is finally linked with ashwini n virat .. through her child .

Both will not put her in danger .. especially with jagtap still free and lurking about ..

samrat’s sacrifice would go waste

Virat tried to reason with pakhi .. but finally jab lottery lagi tab kya karey .. she will use if

Bk blamed Sai .. and she will not forgive sai . But will keep her safe in the house for the child

I guess the next games zz will be patralekha and Sonali trying to harm Sai’s foetus .. because that is her security in the house

If the kid survives .. I am hoping it will .. as samrat blessed it with his life .. then issues will be different .
but I hope ashwini guards Sai a little more

Pakhi thinks she was in love with samrat she never was .. her mind is convincing her .. but even she knows and the audience knows.

Mansi will learn to forgive sai .. and get phased out in the story..

you should have added a small line for Pakhi's Mom. Incredible mother she is!

So here are my reactions to your post 👍❤️🤩🤣

Pakhi has always been someone who never took responsibility for her actions. She blamed Virat for giving up on her love. But if you remember, after Nasik, Pakhi called Virat, he failed to recognize her voice. How did she respond? By blocking his number immediately..which led to their separation. She was blaming Virat as if she got cheated by him without even trying to fight for her so called soulmate. Once she found out the truth & got Virat's assurance of lifelong friendship (i.e attention), she stopped blaming him and started blaming fate instead. Until Sai came into Virat's life. Thereon, it became all about Sai - how Virat broke his promise for Sai.

Even now, she is directing all her anger at Sai because she wants a scapegoat for her unhappiness. If Sai did not come into Virat's life, she would have had his lifelong friendship, or maybe would have gotten married to him after divorcing Samrat and now that she was finally trying to find happiness, Sai again took that happiness away from her. She considers herself as the eternal victim who was hard done by everyone but herself..either fate, or Virat ...and most importantly by Sai. There is neither the acceptance of the reality of life nor any responsibility for her actions or choices that led to her own misery.

Pakhi's parents have brought her up as a spoilt princess who feels entitled to have what she wants without an ounce of introspection on her own faults & choices.While her father is the voice of reason, it is overtaken by his pampering and excessive love for his daughter. Pakhi's mom on the other hand is a full-blown enabler to Pakhi's delusional & entititled behaviour.

BK is not blaming Sai for calling Samrat. She is blaming Sai for coming into their life - and bringing Jagtap's shadow with her. Proof that she has never accepted Sai as part of the family. Another pathetic piece of humanity.

Btw did Virat ask Sai to take Samrat's help? I read in updates that Virat didn't have his phone around him cus he was busy in mission so couldn't notice Sai's calls or messages? Was he lying?

Tbh I wish they make Sai talk about their kid like not actual manipulation but does so in a way Virat holds onto her & goes in guilt trip cus of his attachment with his own kid and part inside her womb. Be more sensitive as it's his own blood.

If Sai wasn’t there her laadla Virat wouldn’t be either always forget that tidbit the makers

They changed the script I guess...

In the episode, Sai was shown calling Virat..but Virat was not picking up her call. So she called Samrat. In this episode, they changed the script that it was Virat who asked her to call Samrat because he was stuck up with something.

Don’t know how they will play .. as it is ghum creatives eat away all the Sai virat conversations

I liked it .. that they showed virat acknowledging .. sai has not been keeping good health .. and that’s why he had told her .. to call samrat

There are many ways .. ashwini n virat can call patralekha’s bluff .. tell her they accept it us Sai’s fault so they will all move out of the house .. and let the others live peacefully..Will bk allow it ..

Anyways at this point .. if jagtap gets arrested then Sai is safer outside Chavan niwas .. she will practice medicine peacefully .. and can support herself . The danger is inside the house

We will see pakhi’s mother more active from henceforth ..

If she supports pakhi to go after virat . Then she will plot n plan with her .

but if she has any sense .. she will tell pakhi to move out of the house with her and begin a fresh life .. start a new job and eventually remarry
