A wife can apply for divorce if her husband marries another woman. She can get alimony too.

You know women can have their own children only untill a certain age. Men can have them even when they are very old.. so for a young guy to be satisfied with a much older woman it is kind of impossible. Also biologically women age faster..

Yes. Men are more likely to be untrusted.. although in this drama 2 women also were shown as untrusted: Mahir's mom and Narmeen.

Well, if Mehuru want, then he will be in Jail. This is strictly forbidden to marry without 1st wife consent. Pakistani shows keep showing men's 4 shadi right but they doesn't show forbidden part. It's men world after all, they adopt words according to their advantages.

I don't think it's illegal to marry without first wife consent... The marriage will be very much valid...

But what I don't understand is how everyone is underestimating mehru... She is ageing but not bedridden who will hand over everything on a platter to narmeen n mahir to enjoy... Or are they planning for mahor to return in about ten years to actually take all property... Mehru doesn't really need mahir to run the business.. She can appoint people..

The older women with young maan is practically impossible marriage to survive I guess.. .. Kehne ko humsafar hai also had a similar track where the woman wanted to use surrogacy to have a baby??

I think this show is making us talk about age difference n how it is treated in men vs women which is a good thing
