It is difficult to even express what songs of KK meant to a lot of us while growing up. His songs were associated with a lot of feelings of teenage crush/love, celebration of friendship, joy, heartbreak,the crazy KK-Pritam collaborations, moving from casettes to CDs, and so much more. A heavy dose of nostalgia that makes your heart warm. He will continue to live on in all those memories and moments which we celebrated through his voice.

A song that will always be extremely close to my heart, an ode to one of the most purest bonds out there.

I first listened to KK in Class VIII when Rockford came out. The songs are still on my playlist💔

Our generation (esp those born in the late 80's and early 90's) grew up listening to his songs.

I can't believe he's no more💔

He was one of my favorite artists.

This loss feels personal, somehow. His voice was such a treat to the ears.

A huge part of childhood went away 💔😭

so sad he died after singing ye pal. so sad that everyone who died this week, so young, including the kids in Texas, and all the families must be so shattered
