I am rooting for this project because not only am I a fan of those involved but it's such a mammoth project, that if it does well, then it will certainly encourage loads of new exciting things in cinema. It will allow others to be more brave with their choices, and put faith in projects that seem "out of the box". If it flops, and let's say it's still a decent film, then film-makers will be very reluctant to step away from the norm... and that would be sad.

I agree with this. Movies like Brahmastra can be a game changer if they do well at the boxoffice, if they don't, then makers will again move few steps backward. I remember this terrific movie named Tumbbad, it was a wonderful movie and the handful ones who watched it also praised it a lot but the movie didn't make any money at the boxoffice, had it made some money, a few makers would have dared to go to the old folklores of the country and explored them in the cinematic universe without sticking to the usual template of horror-thrillers.

So Shamshera has got postponed? There were reports of Ranbir shooting for its promo a week ago. Definitely it's not releasing on 22nd July if Brahmastra teaser and trailer are coming out now.

Wow!! This looks EPIC. Way to go team Brahmastra 🥳 Can't wait for the trailer now .. Records will be broken.

Who said it's not releasing on 22nd july. Lol YRF releases trailer just a month before release.. Posters and teaser coming on 3rd June.

Then it would be a bad strategy on Ranbir and YRF's part to release trailers of Shamshera and Brahmastra around the same time. Both are big budget movies. One project can overshadow the other. People would make comparisons and might skip Shamshera for Brahmastra.

Vfx doesn't look great, considering how much they spent on vfx i thought it would have been better, it looks more animated like a video game

Meh teaser. VFX looks animated. For the time and money they spent, I was expecting something truly spectacular.

I have a strong feeling, this movie is not gonna perform as per popular expectations. It might have a good opening day owing to initial excitement but will tank from there on ending with lifetime collection of disappointing numbers.

Omg Mouni Roy is in this? Has she also been shooting for 10 years? If so, we will get to see 10 different versions of Mouni in this movie 😭
