They were not that close. But they had some sizzling chemistry right from the beginning. They had a track on baby planning too. In fact there were scenes even after consummation.

They lost the grip on things much later, where probably had exhausted all possibilities and then went on to stupid tracks of AU and Next Gen Leap and the flop spin ff. Niti just didn't fit in with Nakul, looked much younger. Again if you see Niti and Parth despite whatever their equation is have excellent chemistry.

Go watch the scene after the this on hotstar and U'll know who cleans up the mess after this (incase u haven’t watched it 😉)

Yes. If you have a bond already it just elevates the scene because of the understanding.

But we have enough examples where the chemistry is 🔥 despite the cordial or no-so friendly equations.
