Now if u compare this issue with then why we cant accept fair girls in dark skinned characters then it will be unfair as we have plenty of dark skinned girl to portray same role (ya phir yeh bolu ki india me majority log dark skinned hi hote hai)

But thats not case with foreign characters

Yes, when u play a marginalized group(or considerably discriminated) then casting people that don't actually have that is ableism, that's why sia's movie music got such backlash for casting a non autistic person in the role

But in this case, it doesn't apply
