if the higher ups in NCB really wanted, they could have planted anything on the kid. They clearly wanted to do the right thing. And yes, the same Delhi NCB guys that let him off routinely hound wealthy people in the NCR area who are suspected of being into drugs. Lots of cases like that. Its just how they operate. SRK and his kid got talked about just because of the celebrity factor.

That's what people are reacting to. Because it's a lie. One assumes you followed the case and the NCB's current announcement. Therefore, you'd know it's a lie. So the post which said Aryan used drugs - without actually saying so in so many words - is a purposeful lie. A deliberate false charge in the face of contrary evidence.

Therefore, people consider it a hate post.

I followed it on and off. If I remember right the NCB at that time said that they wanted him in custody to explore his " possible connections with drug racket" and investigating from that angle though they didn't find anything on him at that point of time.

Also if I remember right the people he was hanging out with were in possession of some narcotic substances and the event he was attending was a rave party.

I also remember reading some reports that he had been consuming narcotic substances on and off since his college days.

No where in my post did I say or implicate that he is a criminal. Consuming narcotic substances does not make a person a criminal but colluding with the drug traffickers does make one person criminal. To my knowledge and understanding they did not find any evidence of him being linked with any drug procurers or traffickers. This is the reason they gave him clean chit.

I do have better things to do with my life than indulging celebrity bashing just for the heck of it. But I do have strong views on consumption of narcotic substances and the damage they do.

BJP got egg on their face and skulked away to live another day. They embarrassed themselves worldwide and realized it wasn't worth it and they can do their evil better elsewhere. A strategic retreat.. but they anyway harassed and scared the industry so that most of them will do their bidding and give them and their hateful ideology the kind of publicity that only soft power can provide.

now since you did talk about Modi and Gujarat, there's a difference. The UPA was in power for 10 years and they did their best to find a way to charge Modi. They put the CBI working full-time to nail him. They came up with zilch. So those are the facts. Of course, feel free to have your personal theories about him... People do love their Osama-is-still-alive kind of conspiracy theories after all, and I wouldn't want to take that away from anyone.😉😆

Everyone should abhor/hate use of drugs.....

But giving moral lectures don't go well with accusing someone of being a drug addict without proof.....

They wanted to harass the industry and did. It was a good way to show power and have them spreading their extreme ideology on their behalf. But of course they are generally foolish people - they should just stick to the willing ones like the Canadian Deshbhakt who is happy to do propaganda mango interviews for them.

Anyway, they failed here but I'm sure they will regroup and come up with better harassment plans in the future.

I was giving the benefit of doubt by saying perhaps you didn't mean it as an attempt to perpetuate the myth he used drugs, but you are doubling down on it DESPITE THE NARCOTICS AGENTS SAYING ITS AIN'T TRUE and despite it being pointed out to you.

That deliberate maligning of someone's character is infinitely more morally reprehensible than any random person's drug use.
