Abhi- With his family background/ family profession, he definitely may have had certain workplace related advantages, but having said that he isn’t someone who is unaware of the harsh realities of the outside world. As he said, he has done internship rotations at underfunded organizations/NGOs/gov healthcare institutions and I am sure he would have had to face struggles at these places as well, although for the limited time of his internship rotation. But he is not someone who is naive or ignorant of the struggles/ challenges that come with working at such places or someone who thinks that these places are beyond help. I believe his unwillingness to have ak working at such a place was based on his strong desire to protect her. His primary concern has always been to make things as easy and smooth as possible for ak. It’s the same like his promise yesterday. He cannot stand anyone badly treating/ disrespecting/ insulting ak or her work, be it Birla family or anyone else. I don’t think he doubts Ak’s capabilities to handle difficult situations but we all know ak is bholi and always sees the best in people, so he always has his “protect akshu” radar on, it’s kind of his default programming. 😁I personally find his over protectiveness very sweet and cute. But I am sure with time he learn to let go of some of his fear. And I say only some, since I feel he will forever be in “love akshu, protect akshu” mode.. 😄

Beautiful, Reva! I completely agree with you about Abhi. I think it is entirely natural for people to want their loved ones to feel safe and protected at work. It has nothing to do with how qualified or capable you believe that person to be -- some sort of concern is bound to be there when you see an environment you know to be disrespectful and chaotic. I wrote in another post that his concern really reminds me of my family's concern in not wanting me to work at my current job for similar reasons pertaining to the nonprofit/public sector world. Them not wanting me to work there had nothing to do with them questioning my capabilities or abilities to handle it -- it had everything to do with them loving me and wanting me to feel secure at work!Lovely review Pooja and grace!

I don’t know why but I was getting dark ominous dé·jà vu vibes during that abhi- ak window scene at NGO.. kind of similar to manjari kissing abhi’s forehead from car window scene just before Manjari’s accident.. anyone else felt like that??? Like they are separated, in different worlds, and can only see each other’s love but cannot be together kinds 😒

I actually think that if Akshu does work here, then Abhi might come occassionally and help out with some cases. He will watch her thrive & be so proud!
