Not necessarily female oriented. But you have got to bring more to the table other than "looks good in songs". 90% of actresses begin with these flowerpot, forgettable roles and there's nothing wrong in doing those roles. But as they gain experience, they bring something of their own to these roles. Kareena in Bajrangi Bhaijaan had nothing special to do. But her character was written well and she brought a certain professionalism to the role. That's one of the reasons major stars are brought in to do cameos. Not just to cash in on their name. But they bring a certain competency and screen presence.

The first part of that film is legitimately the “heroine” listening to a story being told by the hero thru flashbacks. In 2nd half the heroine has more footage but according to Anushka that was the best script she ever read.

BB2 is her only movie that I watched and based on that- yes! she was a flowerpot in the movie.

I think she is a decent actress and pretty too, is okay in her movies, nothing special about her.
