Akshu senses Abhi coming to the car. She turns around, and he has come to give her a phone charger. Akshu smiles. She knows that he came out to see her and say bye, even though he cannot voice that in that moment. Her saree gets stuck in the car and he fixes it for her. She has a flashback to when he first came to the Goenkas for her and fixed her purple saree. In this way, they are truly coming full circle with the pag phera — their last rasam before they are fully united!

Kairav texts Abhi to say that Akshu’s intentions weren’t wrong. Abhi already knows this.

More than angry, Abhi is hurt and triggered. The anniversary party forced him to relive one of his life’s greatest traumas, and it is not easy to deal with that. He knows that Akshu’s intentions were pure and she didn’t do this on purpose — but, unintentionally, she inflicted salt on his and Manjari’s wounds. He needs time to get over it, and I think that is totally valid.

Kairav seriously needs to stop interjecting himself.

Parth, Neil, and Shefali talk about the situation, and all of them are pretty understanding. But, Shefali says that they are opposite personalities — falling in love is easy, but maintaining it is hard. She says just look at Manjari and Harsh. Manjari overhears and has a breakdown. Again, I think that perhaps Harsh and Manjari were in love but something went deeply wrong. Manjari vows that the same won’t happen with Akshu and Abhi.

Both Abhi and Akshu are upset in their homes and their movements are entirely in sync. They fall asleep on the couch before saying how much they miss each other. The sad yeh rishta plays in the background. This scene was so beautiful. Even though they are apart, they are still in sync.

Kairav wants to talk to Abhi, but Manish and the rest of the elders tell him to stop and let Abhira deal with it. Manish is so necessary to keep Kairav in check. He is overprotective out of nowhere, and he needs to stay in his lane. He is becoming so annoying!!

Akshu finally got a nightgown! She tries calling Abhi, but he is in a trance. I don’t think he even hears the phone call. He does not intentionally avoid it at all. Manjari comes and tells him that he has to go pick her up tomorrow. There is no doubt that he is going and was going to go even if Manjari hadn’t come. She didn’t talk him into anything. He was just processing his feelings, as was Akshu — Pranali killed this scene. She puts oil in her hair recalling their first phone call and has a complete breakdown. She is so guilty and heartbroken, and he is so triggered, but he knows it’s not her fault.

The next day, Akshu is singing Oh Khanna — she is calling Abhi. This song always brings them closer together. And, Abhi is hearing a recording of her singing it at home. Again, it is these moments that show their soul connection!

Harsh comes down and complains about the music, saying that no one misses her. Neil speaks up and says that he does, and so does Manjari. Neil, who is terrified of Harsh, is finding his voice. All because of Akshu’s love. People think that Akshu is creating a mess, but in reality, she is slowing helping everyone find their power in this house with the love she is giving them. Neil leaves the table and Parth follows.

Mahima says just look at Akshu’s power — she is creating fights even though she isn’t hear. This is point blank Mahima voicing her insecurities regarding Akshu. She cannot understand why Akshu is influencing everyone, but it is because she sees the humanity in people like none of these elders can.

Harsh calls Akshu an idiot and says this marriage won’t last. And, Manjari speaks up. Shefali, Mahima, and Harsh are all left speechless. This is a version of her they haven’t seen in years, but again, Akshu’s innocence and love is bringing out Manjari’s strength. Manjari says that Akshu is innocent. Not everyone who is good is weak. Here, she is talking about what she used to be, and Akshu too. Abhi overhears this, and he also looks like he did not expect Manjari to speak up. He knows exactly what she means here.

Akshu has a fever and is about to faint. Right then, Abhi catches her. He brings her to her room and Kairav comes to his neck, saying that Akshu has gotten fevers ever since she was young and Abhi being a doctor should know it can come from stress. Akshu is apologizing to Abhi in her feverish state, and Abhi feels so bad. Again, he knows her intentions are pure. Abhi blasts Kairav back, saying that he wasn’t there, but Kairav was and should have taken care. Abhi will have no one question his love for Akshu, and I love that about him. Manish makes Kairav shut up too. The two of them are fighting over a towel, and the episode ends.

The precap has Abhi taking Akshu back to their confession spot with dolls in their confession outfits. This space is really meaningful for them, and Abhi tells Akshu to please promise not to try to change him family. Abhi has made peace with the way things are, and he doesn’t think change is possible. But, Akshu thinks that’s not true. The truth is that Akshu is already changing his family — as evidenced by the episode. Even if she doesn’t intentionally try, her innocence and love will change it all.

They go back to the Birla house and Mahima is shocked to see them back so soon. This type of loving relationship is unheard of in the Birlas, so none of them can understand. Akshu has an interview for a new job, and Harsh taunts her qualifications. Akshu says that she needs passion, not qualifications, and Abhi looks on so proudly. Akshu knows when and how to speak up. She is so strong, and her love is her greatest strength!!

Also, Rudra might have something to do with this new job I think. He also sent Aarohi some paperwork regarding the hospital today!

Another good episode today.

Big Brother Problems:

Kairav is really becoming overprotective big brother only now because his sister isn't in the Goenka house anymore. But I'm glad Manish tried to keep him in check today. There are things that are happening between Akshu and her husband and her new family. It's something that she has to sort out with her husband. If she wants your help she will ask it. Akshu is in a new phase of her life and Kairav needs to respect that.

Kairav was seriously was acting a big childish with Abhi taunting him about how fevers can be caused. Abhi gave a fitting reply to Kairav he wasn't here to see what happened but Kairav was. If he was so "concern" then may be he should have checked on his sister and could found out she had a fever. The tug of war over the towel 🤔 like seriously Kairav let the "doctor" who also happens to be Akshu's husband take care of this.

Manjari:

I'm happy today Manjari spoke up. HAM is going to get uncomfortable but its about time dynamics started changing around the house. They will continue to get shock because someone they use to be able to silence is now going to be speaking up and putting in their input.

Abhira:

Despite their first official fight? You see how miserable they feel about the situation. They are both upset but still miss each other so much. Akshu consumed by guilt for causing tears to fall from Manjari's eyes and triggering Abhi's anger. She thought she would bring happiness but instead it became the complete opposite of what was suppose to happen. The two people she cared so much about she unintentionally hurt and caused pain for them. Abhi is just at a total loss. He's angry but sad as well for the whole situation. If Akshu hadn't did what she did he wouldn't have to re-live what happened in his childhood and his mother wouldn't have shed those tears. But yet he knew Akshu meant well.

Harshad and Pranali are serious serving in these angst scenes 👏 these two are so good! I don't understand the fights on the Bird app 🤔

I really hope there is some more communication because the pre-cap seem to leave it at another vague statement. "Don't try to change my family." But there isn't a why. I'm hoping there is bit more dialogue afterwards. Akshu looks to want to say something. I don't want a promise me this type of dialogues because we all know those do not go well. Someone is going to break a promise 😆

Anyways ITV will always have drama loading so we all know Akshu is going to mess up again somehow and more secrets are going to come out 😆 She's doing some Spring cleaning so HAM all your secrets are going to come out. There is going to be havoc but the kind that is going to set everything right.

No comment yet on the Rudra khaand that is loading. I really don't want Akshu's interview to be with this guy. I want her to actually get a chance to move forward in her career instead of having a opportunity that turns into a waste of time.

I loved the stunned looks on Shefali, Harsh, Mahima, and even Abhi's faces to hear Manjari speak. What HAM sees as "fights" are actually the most oppressed members of the Birla family gaining strength -- and that is all due to Akshu's innocence and love. Even if Akshu doesn't try to change the dynamics, which she obviously will, just her presence and her nature are enough to transform this family! That was so so clear today.

As for Abhira, I wouldn't even say this was a fight or a misunderstanding! Akshu was entirely guilt driven the second she discovered what she had done, and Abhi was more triggered and traumatized than anything anything else. She didn't want to leave, and he didn't want her to go...but, both of them shut down. It was just the communication that was missing...not the love, trust, or understanding. And, with time, I am sure that they are going to build that. Each time they have a tiff, it really just makes it more and more clear that they cannot stay away from each other & will come out of each problem stronger!
