Arey we got a non-toxic ex cuz IB ka vibe hi alag tha na at that point....NKK was the villain of that story so toxic/psycho ex ki itni zaroorat nahin thi us waqt😆.....but word on Malika-Anika being SUPER FUN....lol best track in IB......but yeah word on the amount of kharchaa Gul did on IB....unprecedented hai aaj tak....lol it was trend-setting in many ways ki aaj tak uski sasti copies chal rahi hain - even by Gul herself 😆......Gul made so much money off of Imlie, phir bhi un logon ko bas 4x4 ka set naseeb ho raha hai😆.....I guess jo cast bachi hai is easier for Gul to exploit while the ones with some self respect all left😆.

True, we didn't need a toxic ex to bring conflict. But that saved us I guess from a lot of unsavoury crap haha. Villains were always funny in IB waise bhi, none were really in the toxic zone.

People make a lot of fun of the clothes in IB, calling the fabrics tablecloth/curtains haha, but back then even the atrangi fashion they made Anika set the trends, other shows copied. Shivaay was trolled a lot but his suits, pocket squares and colourful socks are still iconic. It wasn't just the clothes though... NM actually had the body language of a wealthy scion, unlike someone else (cough cough) we know who doesn't. NM's gait, mannerisms, body language...all screamed wealthy businessman. Gul perfectly casted NM in that role.

Haha yup...ST I guess can't leave for financial reasons and because this show was her first big break...but FK the chaplus is happy to be exploited going by his IVs. I even read the Narmada actor being praised for being professional and not ditching the show (unlike MV) in spite of being dissatisfied with her character turning negative. Well their FK bhagwaan can enjoy the fruits of his 'professionalism' now cuz anyday now his character is about to get sacrificed at the altar of TRP god.

Our Billu was truly one of a kind!❤️ He was always upfront about his NKK prejudice...I personally liked that he never apologised for it and simply accepted Anika as an exception. Back then also the pretentious crowd had a problem with him cuz he wasn't pretentious like their Om bhagwaan.😆

Cuz you've so perfectly captured some of Billu's best irreverent moments in it😆.....and the way NM used to do those "WTF is going on/WTF is happening to me" expressions of Shivaay at so many points.....a whole story playing out on his face🤣....his sliding halfway across the floor, then the random about faces on seeing Anika🤣.....this is a JOURNEY with Billu - that's why it's such a fun VM - the opening with the 5 "maafi maangos" followed by Billu ka khud ka "sorry"😆.....Oh can you please give me a download link? I wanna save this so I can watch it offline also😆

Re: IB....haha arey sure it got trolled like hell over the clothes but then I could only laugh as the very thing people were trolling became MAINSTAYS all over ITV....yeh saara trend of entire family wearing same color ke matching/wholesale kapde started with IB only and EVERY show afterwards copied it 😆.....to this day, I see random businessman characters on ITV trying to copy Shivaay ka sharp dressing style with the pins and all....heck NM KHUD couldn't match Shivaay ka level again in BALH2 toh baaki sabko toh chhod hi do😆

NM was perfect casting for Shivaay cuz playing a wealthy scion is not farfetched for him😆.....real life rich/upper class family se hi belong karta hai with all that pedigreed schooling and all....lol baaki sab have to work at it and the pretension seeps in somewhere.....but NM was perfect for this role cuz rich boy waise hi hai and irreverence also he can do well😆.....so he elevated the typical Gul ML traits.

Oh I'm also crossing my fingers for the season living up to our expectations.....there is no other show like this in terms of simple/quirky storytelling right now....I would love for it to keep going to give us a break from the other typical kind of stories all over ITV or other online platforms right now....this one was clutter breaking in the true sense of the word 👏
