And yeah as someone pointed here, her selective sweet and rude behaviour with people is also because of her hero complex and also because she thinks that since she's doing this for greater good of her apne so her rude behaviour is also justified with her mentor and friend aryan and also random strangers like that poor autowalla. She is sensitive to people's emotions selectively and no good person can be selectively sensitive, they are sensitive to the emotions of others almost 99% of the times barring some exceptions. So yeah I'll say it again her selective behaviour is because of inconsistent writing and also to generate drama factor to earn TRP and hence money.
So it's better we take whatever the makers give us with a pinch of salt and not expect too much from her character.

I personally don't like her selective consideration . In aryan's case I can still give her free pass bcz there was a great fear of lossing him. In other instances , i am just taking it as her savior complex .

And also bcz CvS need her to be this way for trp .

But i actiually wish they tone it down bcz in some instances it leaves a bad taste and comes across as insensitive. Especially her misbehaving with doctors and nurses . This is actually scary bcz recently there has been many instances of assault on doctors and showing same thing in name of love or distress for saving her husband is like normalising it. I have once faced a situation in my internship and it is terrifing situation.

Well said. We all also saw it during Corona and so many news when some VVIP folks show there powers and put false accusations on doctors.

Unfortunately I don't expect anything from ITV, they are worse in my opinion they show anything in name of TRP and money..if they entertain well that's more than enough forget about social awareness.. and I have not seen any serial doing even entertainment well.

I think depending on situation she reacts...while saving Arpi from fire at temple she was calm..but anything with Ts doesn't care who is on the other side..she has spit fire at Aryan too...so this .. should we be happy she Aryan apne..hence the rudeness?

I’m with you on both points. Imlie looses her temper when it comes to her loved ones. This time she is devastated, feeling guilty for not saving Aru.. flashbacks of all the times Aru saved her was the breaking point. Her only mission was to find a blood donor at any cost.. nothing else mattered.

kekeke... alright pooja -- you made me watch the episodes which I have been behind on just so I can rant. are you ready?🤣

so let me put it this way -- if people have a problem with narmada slapping imlie, then people should have a problem with imlie assaulting the blood bank employee.

yes, it was physical assault arm twisting the man -- in some parlance, that would be defined as workplace violence. locking the blood bank room and trying to hog the blood for herself? -- well not only is she disrupting the blood bank but by locking herself in, she disrupts the workflow and ensuring that other critical patients are affected. not to mention, how many germs she brought and who knows what protocols she broke -- her later crying that it was all for her husband just made me eye roll. 🙄🤦

there is a reason we have a process and random people can't enter labs. thats how patients fall sick and blood becomes polluted -- because protocols are broken.

and then her yelling at the nurse that she will pay whatever money to get blood -- my thought was "money arrogance!" (sorry, no english/hindi translation but thats what we would say in my language). basically the arrogance that people should jump just because you offer money. 🙄

given how many people are in our country and how limited our healthcare infrastructure is, it means that all of us need to be patient and wait. we need to follow the rules. when we don't, what happens?? -- violence against doctors and hospital staff. they are not God. they are human just like us and doing their duty. so it is understandable that patient families get flustered but that does not give anyone the right to dump all their frustration on to other people.

so, we all need to remember the following:

-- health cannot be bought

-- health cannot be ordered and fixed improptu

-- and at the end of the day, life and death is not in anyone's hands, including doctors and staff. again I repeat, they are not God.

so yea, I was not impressed with imlie's pain or anguish that she was worried about aryan. am sorry but your worry does not give you the right to create problems for other people. 🤦

you cannot ram another car because you are in a traffic jam -- so lets say someone with a slipped disc was sitting in that car, then you just screwed them over and that is acceptable? or if a baby was sitting there and got hit in the head with the impact?

and not to mention damage to property. yes, it is just a car but people slog to pay those EMIs. when a car gets damaged, how many cringe and suffer to get it repaired at times? my point is that her slamming someone's car because it was a traffic jam is also unacceptable -- in some other parlance, that would translate to road rage and can be a crime. it is not something to be applauded.

so imlie is an utter idiot and moron in that episode. there was nothing good about her. she acts like those goondas who break hospital rooms and equipment when something happens to their relative. and then people are shocked why some doctors refuse to take posting in certain rural areas or refuse to do community healthcare. because of jungli type behaviour.

while many fans may have felt bad that narmada slapped imlie, my reaction was "thank goodness! someone needed to slap this girl"... as narmada said, she had been brushing aside actions as immaturity and "as thats her character"... however, at some point, those very characteristics become problematic.

imlie needs to learn how to become a team player and that also means becoming a part of the family. so am all for narmada becoming a little evil -- that is going to actually result in growth of imlie as well as deepen aryan and imlie's relationship. go villains go!! 😆

so yea, that is my serious response. for the most part, I was laughing at various bits because everything is so over the top and nothing makes sense especially when it comes to blood donation. 😂

Agree, on both points.

- Imlie behaviour has been totally wrong and can't be excused as concern for Aryan, immature Jungli. She plays as per her convenience. I agree she played Money arrogance too, which was not right, did she forgot her T family days when Aparna was in hospital and they didn't had money. Health care doesn't belong to rich.

- Narmada, I agree she should teach Imlie to act as team and keep family inform. Infact I agree that Imlie could have delayed or postponed that meet-up when she was not well. So slap for right reasons might be justified. But here reason as kala jaadu, divorcee were uncalled that too from a mother whose daughter was widow. Arpita can hear the same from her MIL if Sundar meets any accident. before Arylie, would she break Arpita's marriage and then ask Aryan to do same, would like to see.

All said, two wrong don't make one right..

Only right, I enjoyed was ASR. This man with his unconditional love and support has all my heart ❤️❤️❤️

And I thoroughly enjoyed Arylie scene and am looking forward to it. Honestly, I could never connect or appreciate Imlie ever, her obsession with T family and AKT while being so rude to Aryan even during their marriage didn't work for me.

playing devil's advocate here...

if we can justify her behaviour as "that was her acting out of desperation/that's just who she is", then we should be able to forgive Narmada for the one (or two) times she has been whack cuz LEGIT i thought Ary-baybee was tata-bye bye this time. 😂

to be honest, I was laughing through most of the episodes. I am not related to medical field in anyway but I just found the entire scene hilarious with how silly it all was. I can't imagine how it would be for those doctors. so even yea, the romantic dialogues with aryan, I was laughing through most of it as I couldn't get over that he got up and left the hospital. 😂

so yea, I never understood her obsession with T family either and her being rude to aryan. however, I have been waiting for all of it to come back and bite her -- which it did. there was no way for her to truly appreicate how amazing aryan is unless she gets a dose of the other side. it needed to happen because she was taking him for granted. the fact that it comes from narmada was a huge wake up call for this girl. if she wants aryan, then she needs to show him and his family that he is important. in many ways, it is a good plot point. the other villains aren't working to push the story along.
