Nah not happening

In South India, sabudana kheer is made as a special sweet dish offering in puja, and also as a normal dessert. It tastes as good as any other kheer, but the sabudana needs to be 100% cooked.

We don't celebrate karwa chauth in Maharashtra we celebrate vatpaurnima and hartalika puja.

On navratri or any other fasting day.

The Harsh-Abhi scenes hit a little too close to home for me for personal reasons. Harsh deserves 0 respect from Abhi in my opinion, because respect is earned. Just being an elder doesn't mean that you automatically get to be worshipped by your kids or those younger than you. Abhi has witnessed this since he was a child, and I am sure he has been deeply traumatized.

I agree that's how abusive households work.. and sadly in my opinion.. others who have grown up in a more normal environment, as much as they try can't understand..

Lovely review everyone! Looks like Harsh and his ego/toxic behavior/vile nature has already been discussed in detail so won’t waste my time and energy on it.

First things first.. Special shout out to Pranali for owning the episode! Dil Jeet liya!

Akshara- In the scene where abhimanyu is explains the realities of his profession to ak, one could literally feel Ak’s pain of seeing all her dreams wrt to welcome come crashing down. When abhimanyu apologizes and asks her to smile.. Ak’s expressions say it all. Smile on her lips and tears in her eyes..

I can’t say it enough number of times- ak is so so so pure and has a golden heart. Even after being disappointed about her welcome home fiasco, she still wants to wait for all family members to be present to do all the rasams. She has just stepped in Birla house and is already creating situations where family has to come together and do something collectively.

She is so mature and understanding about abhi’s profession but again that doesn’t negate the sadness or take away the pain and loneliness of being alone on the first day after wedding. Her disappointment on seeing the room undecorated and her attempt to hide her feelings during the phone call with Goenkas.. oh my god! I could literally hear her heart break into million pieces. And then when she tried to console herself and later broke down- I could hear my heart break into million pieces.

Abhimanyu: Poor poor guy! This day could not have been any more unfortunate for him. I felt so bad for him too. He literally did nothing wrong and even then, everything went so so wrong.. starting from the absence of his family members for welcoming his new bride, no lights, emergency critical patient at the most inopportune time, guilt of leaving his bride alone on her very first day in sasural, complications in the surgery and having to deal with arohi. He didn’t expect akshu to come face to face with the harsh realities of his life on the very first day after wedding itself and he was trying so hard to somehow lighten the blow and to cheer up his akshu. Felt so sorry for him. The pain, the helplessness, the guilt.. ufff!! My heart broke for abhimanyu too.

Birlas- I don’t believe the Birlas are wrong here. There was a mass healthcare emergency and I am sure a lot of kids might have been admitted all at once. Yes, there are other doctors but let’s not forget that HAM are not just employees but they also own the hospital. It’s important for them to be present in case of such an emergency “all hands on deck” kind of a situation at the hospital.

Difference between abhimanyu and HAM- both abhi and HAM are in a profession where many times they have to prioritize other peoples needs over their own wishes. (Even in real life, this is the harsh reality of many professions like healthcare workers, law enforcement officers, national defense workers to name a few). So its their work ethics/ moral responsibility to respond to a health crisis situation. What makes them different is that for abhi, if something is important to his loved ones, it’s important to him as well whereas HAM only care about themselves. Abhi will try to make it up to akshu in some other way later on and HAM would not even give it a second thought. In fact, they probably might have been relieved to have been able to skip this post wedding rasam altogether and thats where they are wrong and have failed in the eyes of their children.

Manish- I really appreciate him for thinking not only from Ak’s pov but also from abhi’s pov. 👏👏👏 Loved it!

I also wanted to appreciate the makers for having created an interesting situation where no one is wrong and yet whatever happened was so sad and unfair to Abhira.

Akshu’s gift for abhi- I wouldn’t be surprised if abhi decides to ask for Ak’s forgiveness for leaving her alone like that. (not saying that whatever happened was his fault)

Undecorated plain Jane room for the newlyweds- On abhi-arohi wedding day, Harsh had sent some staff people to decorate abhi’s room and abhi had declined and sent them back. So I wonder, how come this detail was missed by neil, Manjari and especially abhi. I mean someone should have thought about it.. but then I guess it was deliberate from makers side to make us feel even more bad for akshu. 😡

Abhi may have gifted her Guitar...not only bracelet...

Let see tomorrow...to me the real gift is GUITAR

Unpopular opinion but I liked the bracelet.. well not the look of the bracelet itself but the concept/idea behind it. It was heartbeat and flower. Abhi had compared akshu to flower on the post confession episode saying she is innocent like a flower that has only fragrance and love for others. Heartbeat is obviously representing abhi. So it was nice to kind of bring the symbolic representation of them together. But seems like the final look and quality of bracelet spoilt the beautiful idea.
