Also on this kohli topic, many many players hate Ms and accuse him of destroying careers simply because he dropped unperforming oldies and that never happened in India cricket before. I guess most have seen the movie and his thought process. That's why he wins. Kohli was scared to drop anyone because he cares a lot about his image/reputation/pr/brand. Only sachin was undroppable because he was bigger than Dhoni else every player was dropped once and then called back when needed. For Ex Dhoni played nehra in csk in 2015/16 and that performance opened gates for 2016/17 return. Also Zak was dropped around 2008/09 and then he came back refined to win a world cup for us.

Kohli should have won atleast one of the titles with the all time great bowling team he had at his disposal. But he was so bad at managing it that it turned out to be a disaster. Ashwin and Jadeja were dropped after ct17 debacle because he wanted wicket takers so Kulcha were groomed and played for 2 years with a view to perform in wc. What happened in wc? One bad game vs Eng and they go out and jadeja is back again? What was the point of all this if you had to play jadeja in a knock out after benching him whole event. 🤣🤪. Of course hindsight says jaddu did well in semis but that's should have never happened.

I so wish Ms had the luxury of the bowling attack that kohli/rohit have after 2011. Even one bumrah would have been awesome. Instead Ms had to work Zak and some mediocre trundlers. What he can do with a proper bowling attack was seen in 2015 World cup. We won 7 in a row and took 70 wickets possible out of 70. In the semis it was pure toss luck that aus won.
