A few more points I wanted to reiterate cuz people keep muddling these up to as usual try to smear Adi as the one who didn't trust Imlie, who supposedly gave preference to Malini over her blah blah.....lol
a) Did Adi ever say the words to Imlie that you are a liar and Malini is the one telling the truth, the only one I trust? No he didn't....he didn't once say to Imlie that I believe Malini over you.....he only kept saying it's a MU from both sides cuz you are both jealous of each other - lol and the jealousy part did bear out to be true, didn't it? Imlie's real issue became her all consuming jealousy of Malini more than her supposed love for Adi. Why else would she react like such a psycho over Malini writing Adi's name in mehendi when this is the Imlie who had otherwise spent 200 episodes doing Didi ko sab de do jaap? 🤪😆......jab mood banaa toh jealous wife banna tha isko but Adi ne point out kar diya toh mirchi lag gayi Fliplie ko.
b) Adi never gave preference to Malini over Imlie after he realized his love for Imlie.....he only always tried to give regard to both women as a sign of respecting them.....his focus was always only and only on Imlie.....yes, even when he did crap like deleting the video, he was barely looking at Malini - his entire focus remained on the hurt he had caused to Imlie and wanting to atone to her.....people try to prop up the video deleting as some all encompassing crime - it wasn't. And neither was it a sign of him giving preference to Malini....it was a sign of him getting manipulated and guilt-tripped cuz a baby was involved and again he tried to give HUMANE regard to an innocent baby, not preference to Malini over Imlie.
c) Adi never ONCE loved or looked at anyone other than Imlie.....lol people try to give the example of Malini ka so called "love" and "devotion" for Adi but this same woman was busy getting feelz from KC when she was doing her fake bf drama.....while Adi at no point, not even when Malini raped him, then trapped him a 100 different ways including upto the second AM shaadi - never once did Adi have eyes for anyone BUT Imlie.....the poor guy even while he was getting raped by Malini was only chanting Imlie's name. So then where do these arguments of "preference for Malini" come in? lol
Adi's silence and general evasiveness about not wanting to deal with Malini's drama was interpreted to be him supposedly preferring her? lol waah.....the only regard he gave her all stemmed from him wanting to protect his and Imlie's relationship from Malini ke endless tamaashe.....he wasn't going and spending happy times with Malini while leaving Imlie behind,....he was trying to limit Malini ka bakwaas in his own way by what he thought was just giving in to a few of her tantrums.....yes, in the long run he didn't realize that wasn't the solution....but that in no way means that he was giving "preference" to Malini either.
d) Imlie herself turned out to be the biggest hypocrite and liar in all this. First she spent 200 epis claiming she wants Adi to give all wifely rights only to Malini. She never fully trusted Adi even after he told her he is only devoted to her from the moment he realized his love for her.....she only gave him the appearance of listening to him but the first chance she'd get, she'd accuse him of dhoka over things AC or Malini would say to her while still claiming she alone has the HAQ to go save his life when in danger too....lol
After learning Malini's truth, she had a front row seat to all the planning/plotting M was doing - what her intentions were.....still she accused Adi of cheating on her....she was always more focused on what Malini was doing rather than what Adi was saying/doing to her....even in the mehendi, instead of noticing that Adi was writing her name in his hand, Imlie was more interested in shouting the place down over Malini writing Adi's name. And after HERSELF having brought Malini to the house first, over and over given chances for Malini to the stay in the house even when Adi said it won't be fair to Imlie, then Imlie overnight decided now Malini must leave cuz ANARTH ho jaayega....lol she was all fine to let M stay in the house even after she raped Adi....but suddenly Imlie ji felt that only M plotting directly against Imlie is anarth toh AB hi nikaalo isko? lol what a joke. Adi ko chhodo, IMLIE always gave preference to Malini....that is the harsh truth.
LOL just the other day I remembered that RING scene when Malini tried to give her old engagement ring first to Imlie, then to Adi ki jaao yeh Imlie ko de do....and then Imlie insisted that Adi KEEP that ring cuz she doesn't want him to remove any of his old memories on her account🤣.....itni fake mahaanta lekar kahaan jaayengi Fliplie Devi....lol itne jhoot bole Adi ko, itna ghumaya jab andar se itna chhota dil hi tha iska humesha se jealous of Malini being Adi's past😆
The one glaring truth that the show established very well was that Adini relationship was very superficial with token words of trust & love thrown around by both. Adi trusted Malini in the same way we trust people whom we know in a limited capacity for a long time & Malini toh never trusted him with all her constant calls & aapko koi aur mil gayi toh ke flippant remarks. As to Adi's preference then Malini herself & everyone who knew him knew that he preferred work over time with Malini. Adi later on proved that he prioritised Imlie over work so Malini's number in Adi's priority list is below even work😆.
A better measure of Adi's so called blind trust in Malini can be taken by Malini's actions. If Adi had so much trust in her then why the hell did Malini need to do any planning plotting in the 1st place, he should have believed her anyways. Malini knew with great clarity that Adi trusts & "prefers" Imlie. Guy didn't even look at her if not required. That is why toh she drugged & raped him. So kaha ka trust & preference🤪.
Fliplie ki hypocrisy ki koi limit nahi hai. Earlier when Imlie out of nowhere believed AC & called Adi dhokebaaz we gave it a pass cuz plot contrivance. We thought we were watching a phase after truth reveal where Imlie grows confident in her relationship with Adi. But makers stubbornness to keep Malini relevant & then suddenly changing the story's core storyline just destroyed everything. Fliplie's character is nothing but a joke.
