Someone should ask him what he feels about Virakhi getting back together and see how his ever so indifferent answers go for a toss. And people still think he's being unfairly targeted for nothing.

Reformation - Not an overnight deal
The episode was all about "Nayi Soch". Bringing up issues which are the minor yet influential pieces in the entire regressive, and ancient thought processes. But my only problem, too much too sudden. It just landed abruptly. It lacked that smooth, natural progression. Well we have that problem with Ghum. No sense of gears.
So Rajeev and Shivani will be staying back at CN. What’s the big deal. If a woman can leave her family to stay with her husband and family, why are men looked upon for staying with wife's family. There are certain sections (in Kerala & Assam is what I know of for sure), which are matrilocal or follow follow matrilineal system. Virat and the younger Gen standing up as if it is not a big deal was a bummer for BK and gang. BK and Omi were completely against the idea. Rajeev took that hit on his self respect for Shivani's happiness. Or else why would someone agree to stay in a house where some members clearly point out that he is unwelcome and it is somewhere a lowly behaviour. And that is where Pulkit held his foot. Nothing against Rajeev, they are different personalities with their own set of preferences and priorities. But this was probably the first time Pulkit spoke with such sternness with BK after his marriage. Like i dont even want to be at a place where I'm not respected. Name change a very common phenomenon that comes with marriage. Nothing unusual until lately when woman started to fight for their individuality, equal rights as an equal partner. Shivani wanted to retain her first name and take over Rajeev's last name. Fair, her choice and should be respected. The double standards of BK. She has created such a ruckus when Sai had refused to do initially. Just because Shivani said the name was a remembrance of her Nagesh dada, BK's husband.
Sai took on Virat's name. And it was all about her feelings and sentiments around it. She did what she felt was a move to be a part of him, a single unit. It wasn't about anyone forcing or liking. She did it out of her own love and her means to making her more connected to her husband in this union. Personally I would have added the name as an extension while retaining the maiden name as a remembrance and acknowledgement. But then each individual has their own perspective and it is all about what we feel right for ourselves, no one has a say in that decision making. Every action/gesture is derived from a need and the same need may have different means of gratification for each individual. Virat's move was indeed surprising. He is trying to bring about a revolution and starting with him own family. He has taken bold steps for Sai earlier, and went against his family. Those were akin to his responsibility and promise to his guru. That was the foundation of that relationship. Now his actions are credited to his love for her. Though he said otherwise, it was an obvious inference by BK or anyone. Because he lapsed on many such opportunities since a while. And him now doing it would only mean it is only love not his own thinking. Virat was the one who proposed the idea, but Omi was hell bent on accusing Sai for it. The biggest hypocrites in the bunch. P as usual had to taunt Sai and instigate others against her. For a change apart from these two, it didn’t really become a Sai abuse mission. Karishma too was bowled by Virat today. An answer to all the audience who wondered why woman fall for V (pun intended 😉). But her statement revealed a lil about her too. She wants to break free too, but her need to stay relevant and be in the ruling side, and her own stature along with MIL's training makes her succumb to such behaviour.
While Ashwini and Mansi agreed but were not vocal about it. No surprise there. The only attempt Mansi made to convince BK that it will stay within family was diffused by Virat. There was south Indian movie I watched long back where the lead actor played an investigating officer and carried his mother's first name as his last name.
Samrat was pretty clear in his statement about the status of his marriage. Mansi noticed, P unmoved rest not concerned.
The episode looks like beginning of a new era in CN. Breaking the norms and age old systems and conditions. Looks like makers want to consider stronger concepts with good messaging. Too early to predict, because they have done nothing in this field in fact have only portrayed the opposite throughout. The switch is too sudden to digest. But still hoping that V doesn't flip. He had a certain assertiveness in his demeanour, yet a tone of someone who knows his game and how to play it with the much evaluated opponents. 🤞

She wants to start their conjugal journey on absolute clean state devoid of any lies or secrets. Which is an absolutely fair ask here. Enough has happened due to "Conditions Apply" While Virat has been the non confrontational one esp with his family. With a family like his, he needs to play smarter and twist his ways. But this looks more like postponing the doom day. I'm beginning to wonder if this is similar to SH case or he really has some plan up in his mind. I hope he puts his foot down with absoluteness and states things crisp and clear. 🤞
