Did you guys notice the eye contact when Sonali explained CBC? Both looked pained. 😆. Exasperated. Ayesha and Neil were too good yesterday.

Uncertain loose ends tied with ambiguity

The third and probably the last review on this post. Since the prelude for the next phase ends here. We have felt frustration, anxiety, irritation with the extra dosage of evilness and toxicity. Yet there were undercurrents to something consequential and defining that lies ahead in the uncertainty that prevailed throughout the last two episodes. Today those undercurrents found a few words....but for now they are ambiguous. Like I titled yesterday's post, Onion layers are getting peeled, and we will see more revelations in characters.

I'll start off with Bhavani. So my inkling about her has been right. It was pretty much clear in the last scene from yesterday which spilled over to today's episode. I completely detest Bhavani for her thinking, her narrow mindedness, her arrogance, her ways and her behaviour with her family. Especially Sai. Yes there is quite a lot to dislike about Bhavani. But today, two of my assessments of her proved true. Her concern for Sai during the accident track was genuine and it has always been there. Her predominant urge to protect her family and keep them together (through means and understanding as per her own regressive standards) overshadowed that love. I know this looks too opaque and too easy a comparison for her torturous ways. And I'm not justifying her here nor do I approve of her ideologies or methods. I'm simply trying to understand her character. Haven’t we seen our parents or elders take a harsh stance with us to make us do things which they deem right? We may disapprove and be unhappy, but they feel it is for our best. And they are never happy taking that route nor the fact that they made us sad with their decision. Bhavani did that. But her methods are 100X harsher and unreasonable for anyone's liking or tolerance. She was neither enjoying Sai's plight, nor the win that other's claimed she had over Sai. In fact she was ever teary eyed for Sai when Samrat walked up to become her family.

The other assessment of her was her need for power that blinds and binds her. Her weakness which makes her so credulous and a loose hook. She is a sucker for power but her need to be in power comes from the strong urge to protect her family. And she feels if she fails the family will fall apart.

Contrary to popular belief, I feel that Bhavani sees Sai as her successor. Don't throw stone at me for that 🤣. But I feel she had seen her potential very early on to be the matriarch and run the family like she does. But Sai's nature was a flaw in her eyes. She was too outspoken and brash for her liking. Too raw. And Bhavani was out to refine her. Kind of tailoring her to Chavan standards to one day head it. There have been debate around why Bhavani always pesters Sairat for heir and why is she not bothered about others and how ironic was her statement about daughters not having a say in Chavan family affairs when P always interferes. I guess that is the answer to it. In her heart she is loyal to Sai as the DIL of the house. P does not hold that stature. She is only a weapon, a means she has deployed to tame Sai due to the dynamics. So Sai has to bear the heir first and groom herself to take on Bhavani's role. My only point of confusion is her ignorance towards P's intentions and actions. It is too obvious to oversee. And if she is doing it on purpose then she has been extremely cruel to Samrat in her loyalty to Virat as the son of the family.

Virat was so calm and composed. Well he always is till a desolate bhabhi turns up or Sai is in danger 😜. But his calmness today was due to the confidence that he would sort everything out for Sai and that Sai is there by his side trusting herself in his care. He gave her the assurance that he will set things straight and she was just believed him without having any insight into what he meant and how he intended to do it. Till now it was " trust me", today it was "trust me I will set things fine". The hand holding and the eye expressions were done just right. There was so much more that was been conveyed that met the eye. Was it the camera angles in closeup or was there really a one arm distance during the long and close up shot. They seemed to be so close in close up and unusually far in the shot with BK and gang in the frame. As if they wanted to show all four of them in that shot. But if I look at it more symbolically, Sairat have some close, but these four will create the distance by coming in between.

Sai has always been the brave and I can handle anything kinda girl. Today we saw the dependent side of her. Not because she couldn’t fight this herself, but he is that one person she likes to lean on at times. She has been fighting it out alone for a long time, now she can rest while he fights it for both of them. That is trust that she has on him now, that she has allowed herself to be vulnerable or rather show that side of her. Like Rajeev said even the strongest of people lose hope and give up. She has been strong and she had reached the stage of almost giving up. She is unsure about what and how her life will shape up, but she trusts Virat to make it work out for both of them.

P is frantic, broken and seething. Her la la delusion land just crashed on her. It is so unbelievable that despite knowing everything so well, she still harboured the hope that she will manage to reunite with Virat. Her anger is clearly directed towards Sai, and she fails to see the rationality in her misdirected anger. It was V who refused to marry her, he was the one who gave her that promise and he broke it, he was the one to marry Sai, and he was the first to fall in love between Sairat. The fact he has told before that his feelings for her were mere infatuation, which clearly means that if it was not Sai he probably would have found love in someone else. So if she has complaints it should be directed to Virat. Sai has no role to play. But then P is blind in her judgements and actions. She is so obsessed with Virat that she ignores everything around her, even her own brains. During the initial P turning grey episodes that P is good at heart and it is only her situation that made her that ways. Today that appeared to be a kind of wrong assessment. She has used Samrat, she is playing with his life and yet blames him at poking and taunting her. She is so vocal about her pain and never in this has she realised the pain she was causing him. It has always been about her. Virat also doesn't feature in that sphere, if he did then she would have felt his pain at his separation with Sai. She only found pleasure there. She lashed out and unashamedly admitted that she was indeed harboured feelings for Virat to Samrat. How insensitive and selfish is she here? Even after accepting it and Samrat clearly spelling out the similarity in their situation and his own pain, she felt zero remorse and wen ton to accuse him further. Why does she keep harping beizzatti when she has no self respect of her own. Thats the ambiguity here. I feel she knows it that she holds no real respect and hence keeps throwing it to assure herself of the same. And then she has the audacity to curse. Like the tying of lose end, her hopes are broken. but the ambiguity if she will only continue chase V with renewed hope or target them as a couple to create problems and distance between them. After her confession how will she (face Samrat - well she is too shameless, she faces everyone without an ounce of guilt when she has such illicit intentions) behave with Samrat once she recovers and comes to some senses. She is selfish, she couldn’t feel the happiness for Shivani nor the sorrow of her leaving because Sai was somewhere involved. She is self centered and selfish, that is her dominant nature. V never saw it during his crushing days and she didnt reveal it to much later.

Today we saw Samrat finally addressing his hurt and pain. His situation is somewhere similar to P, where the one loves is in love with someone else. But he is not vicious and vile like her. And like her he hopes to be united with his love. But unlike her he doesn’t resort to evil games for it. In all his sorrows he is genuinely happy for his brother and Sai. That they found love. Ambiguity here - If he hopes that P will backoff now and if he is hoping that he stands a chance with her and if he is willing. And also, the stand he will take in supporting Sairat and stopping P in her next moves,

One other scene, Samrat claiming to protect and be by Sai's side. It was emotional, but after how he abandoned her it sounded lame. If he meant that he considered her to be his sister right from when they met, then how did he fail to support her during her lowest time. I wish Pulkit had taken over that role, he would have been justified there.

Precap - I feel Virat will ask Rajeev and Shivani to stay in CN. Anuradha was probably introduced for this only. That she was looking after him till now and being his only family, but with her departure, it would be difficult to manage for Shivani with Rajeev's medical conditions. So many hope and plots around Anuradha, ambiguity there too. Coming to name change, though it sounded too much for the kind of family Chavans are and too unconventional from the makers track record, i don’t know if it is V's strike back and the first move in his mission, or it was a genuine gesture of appreciation and gratitude in return for Sai's gesture.

yes she was genuinly worried for her family in her own regressive way. The way she pushed Sai and Virat to start their conjugal life in MiMo track, and her support for Sai during Sruthi kaand did say she values her family and its togetherness more. She also knows Virat's happiness lies in Sai. Although she is more invested in Virat, we can see that she has accepted Sai as her bahu

The other assessment of her was her need for power that blinds and binds her. Her weakness which makes her so credulous and a loose hook. She is a sucker for power but her need to be in power comes from the strong urge to protect her family. And she feels if she fails the family will fall apart.

I guess that is the answer to it. In her heart she is loyal to Sai as the DIL of the house. P does not hold that stature. Yessss! this is my view too. She knows her family will be safe in Sai's hands. She is making sure her focus is only on the family and not her career. But she will understand when Virat explains things in his own way I guess. I also feel she is concerned more about 'Chavan' boys more than Samrat. There is no explicit potrayal of this feeling. But with her kind of mindset, it is Chavan first. By extension she doesnt bother with Samrat's life as much as Virat's. If Pakhi pulls of fake pregnancy that might effect Chavan reputation then she might turn against Pakhi..lets see. She is blind to Pakhi, or choose to be blind to Pakhi only to keep Sai in check. Pakhi is pawn, Sai is the queen in making according to Kaku 😆

Virat was so calm and composed. Well he always is till a desolate bhabhi turns up or Sai is in danger 😜. Yeah Sai needs someone to trust with life. Just like her dad. Someone who takes decisions on her behalf so she need not worry. Onus is on Virat to prove his trust.

Sai has always been the brave and I can handle anything kinda girl. Today we saw the dependent side of her. Yeah I agree with every word. She doesnt care about propriety also when she is angry. Not about repercussions etc. Basically 0 concern about the people around. Sometime she looks uncouth to me.

Sammy truly loves her I feel. He was attracted to her in the first moment just like Virat but Sammy had a deeper affection for her I believe. He is still trying. 1. May be because he feels that leaving her would have made her difficult to move on. 2. He has hopes that once Virat is completely settled with sai, she will see him. But the guy has to be stern and push her to make a decision in front of elders this time

One other scene, Samrat claiming to protect and be by Sai's side. It was emotional, but after how he abandoned her it sounded lame. Yeah but thats ok. what can we do. The track was wrong placement altogher. It didnt churn tears yesterday in that scene. With Pullu it would have been emotional.

Same to same feelings about the episode!

There was a thehraav between Sairat today ..maybe it was the relief the two felt that their love has been accepted. I liked that thehraav. They kept holding each other's hands...it was cute.
